It's not a bad script by any means, but I'd really like to see them go with something more traditional that matches the home script better. The SF crest would be a decent compromise if they're going to insist on using the completely out of place piping on the road jersey. The San Francisco cursive script would be a complete disaster. It's very subtle and not really visible on the TV, but I still think it's a really nice touch that makes it from "generic" to "nice". In the Giants' case, the placket piping is even worse because it doesn't match the sleeve piping. guest23 Posted October 11, 2012 Share Posted October 11, 2012 Winner.Those were just a tweak away from perfection.honestly the plain font on the away just seems to work...the stylized/serifed/scalloped font on the homes just looks muddled and blurry when you convert it to "san francisco" because the letters are too small...I'm assuming this is why this is why the original roads went that direction in the first place.
