New Orleans Hornets Will Rebrand as Pelicans in Time for 2013-2014 NBA Season

That wordmark is tiny.

Blame (as always) the Rev30 system. Memphis had to shrink their wordmarks down to that size too.

Any better pics of the side panels? Haven't seen them.

Same here.

They threw away the excellent Hornets identity......for this? :(

I knew it was coming, but it still hurts to see it.

They didn't appear to have gold outlines in the pictures. And if they did it was only the word marks

I'm glad it doesn't look like that concept that had been floating around but at the same time these jerseys need a lot more red in them (just not at the expense of gold). Something tells me the Pels would have gone with a red away instead of blue if the Cavs would not have done the same when they first started.

They are clean. Nothing revolutionary, and that font is indeed small. But overall I have no real complaint.

They're safe jerseys.

They didn't want to push the envelope.

In other words; BORING.

And yes, they reminded me of Cavs blue jerseys.

In other words; BORING.

And yes, they reminded me of Cavs blue jerseys.

I don't think anyone wants to push the envelope anymore.

There are Boys Club playground teams with better-designed jerseys than those. Terrible. Whoever designed, approved, and accepted that crap should be fired.
