Gotta admit, medieval Japanese tentacle porn was not something I expected to be in admiral's repertoire, but there it is.

I dunno, seems right in his wheelhouse.

For all the bird de lis haters I think the bird de lis isnt supposed to be a pelican and a fleur de lis I think its just a fleur de lis with a pelicans head. Thats what it looks like to me. Also the flair around the tip of the beak is just flair that fleur de lis have sometimes source I am from NOLA.

And we've reached a new low. It's too bad the octopus guy is only the second biggest joke account on this page...

Moving on, I would have said in the past I'd like to see the Coyotes incorporate their sand color into their uniforms more but I fear it would just look like another instance of the ever-popular vintage white.

Since the new ownership group got Glendale's approval, they've been using their primary logo overlaid on the secondary quite a bit:

This would look a lot better on the front of the jersey, I think. The Coyote head has been too big and too vertical since the Edge takeover. Mind you, that would fix only one problem with the uniform, and it would still be inferior to the Picassoyote, but hey, baby steps.

Think this is just a quick way for them to remind people they will be the Arizona Coyotes for now until they can do the official rebrand.

Saw this concept in the Coyotes logo page...can't believe it, but I like it:

Doesn't improve that dated looking logo in the slightest. I would like to see them go back to the inaugural look or make a brand new identity from scratch. Right now the team looks like a brick version of the Red Wings minus a good logo.

The Coyotes' logo is most definitely not dated. The Picasso Coyote? THAT was dated.

Yeah, throw this into the "Unpopular Opinions" thread, but while the Picassoyote was fun for the '90s, I'm happy it's left in the past. I quite like their logo, and I just wish they utilized the black and sand more instead of the oversimplified nonsense they wear now. I wouldn't mind a return to the '90s colours, so long as they toned it down a notch.

aren't the black and red sabres uniforms considered some of the best of the 90's? and all the love of the stars cup jerseys, and the avs cup jerseys?

The Sabres' black/red/silver duds are hated quite a bit, but as far as the Stars and Avs go, those templates were creative and tied into the team name. Those Sabres' uniforms? They featured random patches of fabric randomly put together in no apparent style or fashion.

Count me in with the lot that likes the current Coyotes uniforms. Their inaugural look was fun, but was a bit much in terms of colors and contrast. I'd be open to them including a little more of the sand color in their set but think they're pretty good to go.

I really don't understand why the Phoenix Coyote's current identity get's almost universal acclaim on these boards... The inaugural set was never going to be considered a classic but at least it was a good visual representation of a hockey team playing in the desert... The colour palette was perfect and the logo can not be called "dated" because it was completely original. It doesn't represent the trends of the 90's, the 2000's or today... The current identity on the other hand is as dull and unoriginal as it gets. The aggressive logo is more "90's" than the "Picasso Coyote" and in a feat of truly bad design, is matched up with an uninspired striping pattern that looks about as far removed from the logo's as humanly possible... Hem-stripes or not, it's a bad identity
