2013-2014 NHL Uniform & Logo Changes

I just don't get the Sabres. They have one of the best color schemes in any sport, they have a great name, and their logo is awesome, yet they constantly :censored: up their jerseys. It's downright maddening.

Suddenly the new Suns unis don't look so bad anymore.

Or the Pelicans. Or the Hurricanes. Or the Dolphins.

I think we can all agree that this is better than the Jaguars, however.

Oh it does need tweaks. It wasn't too far off from being a decent jersey. The problem is it feels like it's half finished. As it is, it's half decent (most of the front) and half terrible (everything else).

I don't hate the back at all. I don't like the grey numbers and obviously they'll have to shrink the nameplate to fit the longer names, but it looks kinda cool.

The front however is just an ugly mess. Overall the jersey is terrible. I hate grey. And that dumb Buffalo script above the logo...pointless.

Here's what I have so far:

• Boston
• Florida
• Nashville

I would make the blue section ending just under the name instead of getting all the way down. It'd still be distinctive, very original, trying to keep the concept. I mean, It could work.

Pretty much my opinion:

That was the first thought I had when i saw it. So basic and dull. The lettering I do like. That's about the only positive I take from this. Probably the worst one of the summer.

It's a sad day when the only good part of your team's new jersey is the captain's letter. I don't get the gray numbers, they just seem drab and are visually unappealing. They could have at least used the silver accent material. The Buffalo script seem redundant and minor league, and quite frankly, the whole thing would have worked better with a new alternate logo. The old one looks out of place with the modern cut of the jersey.
