If there's one team where there seems to be real venom, it's gotta be either the Sharks, or possibly the Lightning (not that I say the Bolts out of a sense of defending my team, but because of Yzerman and the Maple Winged jerseys. I've just become exceedingly frustrated by mediocre teams that are able to hang around with no sort of plan. The Flames drove me nuts for years before they finally gave up the ghost last week. I always liked playing with either the Suns or the Jazz, because they had multiple great three point shooters as well as a great big man. Thunder Dan is a legend to me because of that game alone. I don't know how much of it is having to hit the salary floor without the benefit of the buyouts and dead cap space that the Islanders cheat with, or if they're afraid to go all out in sucking in a fragile market (even in the Tom Hicks's Creditors' Hockey-Related Entertainment Show era, the nadir of the franchise, they still hung around 9th/10th), but it's just annoying to watch them sign Jagr and Whitney "as the last pieces of the puzzle," except there is no puzzle. ♫ oh yeah, board goes on, long after the thrill of postin' is gone ♫ Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
