UNC's announced combo for the MTSU game Saturday.

my question would be why would you have the black logo/white outline on the helmet and the white logo/navy(?) outline on the pants... that sticks out to me bad

There is no navy and the helmet decals for Carolina blue helmet were initially made with a white NC outlined in black just like the ones on pants.

Than after they switched black outlined in whit.

I don't see anyone else putting this on there. UAB went all white against Troy. White helmets, jersey's and pants.

Here's the Mizzou uni I mentioned earlier. Might as well put it here instead of having to click a link.

Is this legal?

To clarify uniform rules as follows: “Jerseys must have clearly visible, permanent Arabic numerals measuring at least 8 and 10 inches in height front and back, respectively, and be of one solid color that itself is clearly in distinct contrast with the color of the jersey, irrespective of any border around the number.” This rule goes into effect for Football Bowl Subdivision teams in 2013. Football Championship Subdivision, Division II and Division III teams will have until 2014 before the rule becomes effective.

Yea, a lot of talk on Twitter yesterday about that. It definitely isn't in distinct contrast with the color of the jersey, and I'm sure on TV and from the stands it'll be next to impossible to see the numbers. Wouldn't be surprised if the NCAA puts the ban hammer down and they come out in their regular black jerseys.
