I think I'm digging the hockey goalie mask inspired look (if done correctly).

I like the uniforms, but I am not a fan of the helmets Maryland's going with. The black helmet with the flag design from the time they did the Pride uniforms in black would've been fine enough.

Regarding Virginia Tech's recent uniforms:

Those terps helmets look amazing. It's a copy cat world so I would guess we will start seeing a ton of new helmets with this style

I have seen something like this before.

Both hideous.

Maryland's has context for the design. Miami OH does not. Maryland doesn't have a bowling ball on their head.

Honestly, I think Maryland's new pride helmet looks better than their normal banner/flag helmets. Ditch the wordmark going across the back, and I'd fine with those being the Terps' fulltime lids.

Maryland's new helmet is awesome. It looks great and is executed well.

Now Virginia Tech on the other hand...

Im surprised Maryland's are getting so much love. Everything posted on the laat few pages has been totally rediculous.

Absolutely beautiful uniform. The sleeve design is perfect, the helmet is really nice.

Jersey and pants are great, but that helmet is just NO. It looks like slicked back hair with the Maryland flag design in it. Just plain bad. And Virginia Tech's helmet makes me want to throw Frank Beamer out of a high speed vehicle even more now.

Can't wait to see these Maryland helmets in action. I thought they were cool the first second I saw them here. I like the idea, and it's a beautiful graphic. Don't really like the Maryland on the back. It's better than Miami (OH), but I'm glad it's not the full time helmet. I love the Terps' normal banner helmets.

I love, LOVE the Terps uniforms. That helmet is a work of art. Much better than their previous Pride uniforms.

Kudos to Under Armour and Maryland... Say what you will about the helmets, but you can't argue that they're unique. Before they were unveiled I was almost postive chrome would be involved somehow (like Mizzou's new nubby helmet). The helmets truly are impressive. For a one-game uniform I think they're close to perfect.

Maryland's new helmets are definitely nice. As a matter of fact, the whole uniform is nice. And Vt should be forced to forfeit the rest of their season if they're gonna keep coming out looking absolutely absurd every time they play. And people complain about Oregon. SMH
