Well, I guess I do like these better than the home version... mostly for the numbers. The silver trim here really does look sharp, and that wacky finish on the numbers on the red jersey looks so cheap. Still the giant helmet stripes are clown-time... I still think my Rick Moranis / Dark Helmet comparison is spot on.

You know what? To me it just comes down to tOSU being a team that simply doesn't need to do this stuff. Leave it lower tier Big 12ers.

Mizzou's black-black-gold combo is growing on me. But every other combo looks really bad, especially that white jersey.

Since ASU's massive rebrand in 2011, they've worn black in both sports whenever they play Arizona.

Football:

2011: All black

2012(@ AZ): Black helmet, white jersey, black pants

Tonight: White helmet, but black helmet and jersey.

And for basketball as the road team in Tucson, they went with black instead of maroon.

ASU looks like :censored: in that uniform combo as Maroon-Gold-Maroon would have looked 10x better. As far as my team, I hate the black uniforms, but I will admit that when the blue socks are worn it makes the whole set look a little better, not much, but anything can help out this disaster.

it's the Unitard effect. Wearing the same color tights/socks can ruin the look of a uniform pretty easily.

Hawaii's Rainbow Warriors throwbacks are amazing.

UNLV in gray/gray/gray is awful as SDSU is wearing a white top.

I wouldn't say amazing, but they did look a bit better last night than I expected them to. I think it was the white socks and sleeves that helped the look. Still not great, but it didn't really look as bad as I expected.

But how is it mizzou's fault that there original template turned into a stock template once a few years went by. Also, I think that ASU combo looks so good because of the white gradient on the numbers.

Both Arizona and ASU looked pretty bad. It used to be a good matchup...now it's BFBS vs. Copper with red/blue/no copper.

I was at the game last night and, in a vacuum, I actually like the UK black uniform. But I don't like it for Kentucky. The blue jersey/white pants is just a really sharp look with either the white or blue helmet.

The white jersey/orange pants combo looked great on the Vols.
