2013 NCAA FOOTBALL THREAD

The SEC isn't known for it's kickers. Alabama, Mizzou, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, and apparently Auburn all have kickers that routinely miss <35 yard field goals.

The final BCS championship may be a dud. How fitting.

There hasn't really been an exciting BCS title game since USC-Texas in 2006. And even then, USC committed Seminole-like mistakes early on, then recovered for the classic finish. Do not know how this game will fare.

Edit. 6:51pm PST: 21-3 Tigers. Looks like they made up for the dropped ball with the TD from the fumble.

Nice reverse- fake punt. That might turn the momentum.

Anyone watching the various ESPN channels? I hate the evil empire but it's a great idea.

Title talk on the Duece is pretty cool too.

Who would've thought that Auburn was going to have a huge pass that would've went for a TD dropped AND a missed field goal in the first half, yet still have a 21-3 lead?

EDIT: 21-10 now. Far from over, thankfully.

How ironic of all the seven SEC teams that won the BCS title, LSU is the only SEC team who lost the championship two years ago..............to the Tide!

Think of the eerie pattern that could have arose had the Tigers won that 2012 game. In the last 8 years, LSU, Florida, Alabama and Auburn could've had a pair of titles each. And it would have been more eerie since it was a leap year and the NCG was at the Superdome.

But 'Bama treated the world to the most forgettable major college football game of this generation.

I love the '85 Bears sweater vest that Malzahn is wearing tonight.

I think after watching these BCS games, the underdog winning is officialy played out in these bowl games once the Tigers get through with the Noles.

The Film Room channel (the one with the coaches and Millen and Chris Spielman) has been the channel to watch. The most informative, by far. It's hard to top the right-at-the-moment analysis of every play and strategy going on by current coaches that faced the championship teams this season.

Without any doubt. This is basically a football fan's dream for watching football.

No doubt. I just like Tilte Talk because it's nice to see talking heads interact with players, celebs, and the internet in a casual setting just watching and enjoying the game. It's like a viewing party on TV. Not very informative but it's interesting to me.

It's pretty cool, but I'm finding it difficult to get used to not hearing typical announcers.

God I sure hope so. Winning a NC warrants a better trophy than something you'd see on Grandma's shelf.

The crystal football is the coaches poll trophy. It will be around and given to the #1 team, but not on field for the playoffs.
