rams80
Neither Virginia Tech nor Marshall scored in the first two OTs.We are officially in "Star Trek fight music" territory. rams80
I think "Will Muschamp gets fired at the end of the season" is an increasingly probable outcome.EDIT: Pitt and Duke will probably have a lower score in their basketball game this season. HedleyLamarr
Ohio State up 48-0 over FAMU, 4th and 5, with 27 seconds left in the first half, with first string still in. They go for it, make the first down, hurry up, and throw a touchdown...Big ol' bag o' dicks right there. Fvck you, Ohio State. Many coaches feel that you score as many points as you can in the first half, even if everyone knows that one side is vastly superior to the other. Lights Out
I think "Will Muschamp gets fired at the end of the season" is an increasingly probable outcome.I could see him failing upward into the Texas job, actually. His name keeps getting thrown around in rumors and he's still well-liked in Austin. The players loved him when he was defensive coordinator there, IIRC. Burkell007
Now I can see why Gameday was in freaking Fargo this morning. There is nothing that catches your eye and says 'Watch this game or else you'll regret it'.Seeing Ohio State and Louisville curb stomp weaker teams is boring... In fact, it's as much fun as watching paint dry or having to put up with the board's resident Louisville fanboy/Teddy Bridgewater's female dog.have no fear next year and such strength of schedule DOES matter, so no more FCS curb stomping as bad....and teams like florida might auctally leave there state to play a non conference gameand those refs in the vt-marshall game outta be banned, i mean its was acc refs and they kept screwing marshall, how is this not a conflict of interest, i thought other conference crews does non-conference games to avoid this?? When there's a home-and-home (or annual matchup), the schools will agree to using the visiting conference's refs if the visiting school (or the visiting school's conference) can afford to accommodate the refs for the trip..However, I believe the replay booth is always "reffed" by the home school's conference. There's been a few occasions where a Georgia at Georgia Tech game featured an SEC on-field officiating crew and an ACC crew in the replay booth. Raysfan12
I really don't know what was worse; FIU getting blown out 72-0 by Louisville or the fact they only gained 30 total yards against UofL.

DS729
Just got back from the Tech game. Horrible. Sit in pouring rain to watch your team nearly lose to Marshall, the only good thing I could get out of that was that Tech blocked a punt and a kick. I think Florida just found a new QB, Russell plays a heck of a lot better than that turnover machine Jeff Driskel.

In fact, if anything, I feel kind of bad now for having made that comment without knowing just how bad the injury would really be for him. At the end of the day, it sucks that Driskel has to go through this process.

We get Big 10 or Pac 12 refs for games with Michigan, Purdue, Stanford, USC, etc but we had an ACC one for Temple. It's always been Big East in the replay booth and this year it's now ACC. That's FOUR awful teams in four weeks for them. Play real teams for God's sake. I HATE when top tier college programs schedule so many crap teams this late in the year.
