Ahh yes, because nothing beats the scenic beauty of central Texas in October. Well, except the dazzling beauty of southern New Mexico.

If you make your way up the central part of the state, can you get me some chicken from "Los Pollos Hermanos" while you're at it?

Man, I was really hoping that we'd get to go through Albuquerque (not realizing it was so much further north), but instead we went just north of one of Mexico's premier resort vacation destinations, Ciudad Juarez. Ahh, what a lovely trip it's going to be tomorrow.

In all seriousness though, this was a fun trip. Glad I got the chance to take it. I'd definitely do it again.

Well, that sucked. Gotta give it to Notre Dame though. They played a lot better than we did. Hopefully ASU has learned it's lesson on playing "Neutral Games" vs Notre Dame. Neutral game my ass. That was the homeryist neutral site game I've ever been to. Oh well, at least it wasn't a division rival.

Well I mean technically it was a Notre Dame home game so there's that. The fact that we go out to Tempe next year (a game we tried to get out of because we have 13 scheduled with the ACC games and y'all wouldn't let us out there) is the return game for this one. The Shamrock a Series isn't meant to be neutral site, really, just an excuse for NBC to get a second ND prime time game.

Good. Get ready to feel the heat :P

Not much to say about yesterday's game. Notre Dame played better and beat the Sun Devils. Plain and simple. Their defensive line really came on as the game went along and Kelly didn't have the time to throw and couldn't get out to run.

Great effort by ASU. That effort probably results in a victory on more Saturdays than not. They have to finish these drives with TDs, especially early. Too many field goals in close this year. Have to finish these drives. And 3rd downs. When they're not able to run up and down the field like they did against USC and things slow down, they have to convert those third downs.

Anyway, I'm confident in this ASU team. They should wipe up Colorado next week, but can't overlook them with Washington on the docket in two weeks. Beat Washington, beat UCLA and :censored: up UA, and they'll win the South. Still well within reach. Go Devils.

Yesterday was really disappointing. The noon games were all yawn worthy. 3 Top 10 teams nearly went down, but ended up pulling it out in the end. I'd be bumped if I were a UT fan, so close to finally beating one of their rivals and the ball gets dropped on the one.

He should put on a show every week.

He won't play a quality opponent all season.

I agree, but Louisville's offense is very balanced so it would be hard sometimes for him to put up huge numbers like Manziel and Mariota. He has the talent to do so, but is limited to the pro-style offense they run. Also, the schedule is a total bummer. Next year will be great because they will play Clemson, Notre Dame, and Florida State in the ACC rather than UCF, Memphis, and UConn.

Agreed. They really need to re-do the ACC's Divisions though. If their going to make them random like the B1G, then don't give them geographic names. I could see a North/South alignment working.

They're only random because the media says they're random and the names are stupid.

The ACC has had these divisions for nearly 10 years, and I'm still not 100% sure which team is in which division. And I consider myself to be on top of things when it comes to college football......
