Brave-Bird 08
Here's the thing: If any concept artist on this board posted this everyone would applaud it. In other words, it's wonderfully designed. But, as stated above, it just is a tad too detailed and will look out of place with the rest of the logos in the sport. The wordmark is a different story, though. So lazy.

FiddySicks
Hmm, I'm not sure what to think. It's not a bad update, but I'm not convinced its any better than the old logo. In a vacuum, it's definitely an improvement, but I'm not convinced it'll serve to improve the entire look. For the flaws that the old logo had, it worked so well on the helmet without a key line. It's funny. I feel like the two expansion teams went in opposite directions, and I really don't think they should've. Carolina eliminated the key line, and on most merchandise it really doesn't work. Jacksonville seems to have added one, and again, I don't think it'll work quite as well as the old one. rmackman
To illustrate my point. This is a logo. Whatever imperfections you might find, it's stylistically a logo. This is a drawing:Done by simon - http://www.hulu.com/watch/19309 "Every morning in Africa, a gazelle wakes up. It knows it must run faster than the fastest lion or it will be eaten. Every morning in Africa, a lion wakes up. It knows it must outrun the slowest gazelle or it will starve. It doesn't matter whether you're a lion or a gazelle. When the sun comes up, you'd better be running." - Unknown | Check out my articles on jerseys at Bacon Sports

phutmasterflex
I liked the old one so much better, but this new one is OK with me. But I can get used to it and maybe one day, I may even love it. It all depends on the uniforms to really see the logo's value Go A's!

Whatever imperfections you might find, it's stylistically a logo. This is a drawing:Put 'em side by side, and it's a tremendous upgrade. Massive.I'm not a huge fan of the new wordmark, but that's largely a wash. The old one was bland and inoffensive, distingushable only by its arch, and this one is bland and inoffensive, distingushable only by its arch and a couple extra spurs. The logo is enough of an upgrade that I don't care much about that, though. 29texan
Reminds me of...Yeah, except the stripes aren't as detailed to look "real" like the spots on the new Jaguar. Like I said, I don't hate this new logo. I really like it, in fact. But I just thought the old logo was more fitting.
PaleVermilion81
it just is a tad too detailed and will look out of place with the rest of the logos in the sport.I actually disagree. I think it fits in with logos like the Ravens, Eagles, Panthers, Bucs.
Broken Record
Reminds me of...No. This is a great cat logo, like the old Jags design.Well, that's definitely an opinion. That Bengals secondary is one of my favorites league-wide. I always hated the previous Jags logo. I really like the new one... which hurts me because I hate the Jags. Brian in Boston
Exactly. The new mark is an illustration. Maybe it could work with the right overall branding direction, but it's clear that this team wants an ultra-modern Seahawks-esque look. This thing, in addition to being a downgrade in its own right, will just look mismatched with their new uniforms. It already looks mismatched with the new, angular wordmark font it is paired with. I have a BAD feeling about the new uniforms.
