When Faust came in he changed them back to blue, but more of a royal blue, added stripes to the sleeves, and retained the NOBs. These seven years are the only times we've had NOBs aside from the recent bowl games. In '84 Faust changed the unis back to the traditional ND look.If Faust didn't suck so bad it would be interesting to see if this look could have stuck. The switch back to navy was probably inevitable, but if we had success the stripes may have stuck. Oh well... sorcerer77 Posted February 14, 2013 Share Posted February 14, 2013 I liked those older Boise State uniforms with the school name in bigger lettering. One of my pet peeves has been the trend in recent years to miniaturize the name of the school or nickname on the front of the jersey. Texas and Oklahoma are among the colleges who are still doing it correctly, but I almost feel if you're going to micro size the name, just leave it off the jersey completely.
