This is technically now retro:

It's the Huskies best of modern day (no random piping)

Back from 1980s-90s:

always thought they should wear this forever, with the Sonny Sixkiller era font numerals.

I am sore, wounded, but not slain

I will lay down and bleed a while

And then rise up to fight again

Also, dug up an old Minnesota-UCLA Rose Bowl photo from 1962. I don't think it's colorized, but it possible it is.

#15 looks like a proto-Jared Lorenzen. I didn't know UCLA's shoulder stripes used to just be white. Seems like they changed like the Rams over time.

I remember these. I think Iowa wore them for one season only (maybe two) and then went back to their more conservative look. I always liked those "wings" on the shoulder pads and the stripes that only went halfway down the pants. For Iowa, this was about as crazy as they were going to get with their classic black and gold unis.

West Texas State (now West Texas A&M) in the 1960s:

Love the cleats football players wore back in the day. They looked dirty, ugly and badass. Made for football. No weird colors or patterns. Just basic black and white.
