URL Rollercrosse Nicknames for Toronto & Vancouver?

Recommended Posts

The URL is going to have 2 Canadian teams in the league. Those two cities are Toronto & Vancouver. I was originally going to go with four Canadian teams:

Toronto

Vancouver

Ottawa (If you'd like to still suggest for future considerations, go ahead!)

Calgary (If you'd like to still suggest for future considerations, go ahead!)

But, I decided to wait on Ottawa & Calgary for the moment. They could be alternates at some point down the line but I thought Toronto & Vancouver would be the more logical choices to go with for right now.

Does anybody have any good nicknames for either city here?

WESTERN CONFERENCE:

Vancouver

EASTERN CONFERENCE:

Toronto

My idea is for you to stop wanting items/ideas from this board. All of your posts essentially want items from others be it logos or just names.

Heck, you gave a RFP for 20 logos yet gave the job to a member less than 12 hours later. Way to hqve competition.

Overall six posts and four of them asking for s#it. Take it easy, son.

Calgary Sharpshooters (reference to the Wild West theme most teams in the city use; also an homage to The Hitman's finisher)

Ottawa Castors (Canada's national animal is the beaver; being a bilingual city on the border of Quebec, I thought a French name seemed appropriate)

Toronto Tritons (Excellent lakeside homage)

Vancouver Kermodes (Homage to the mythical kermode bear which, local legend has it, starts life as an orca)
