cdreed 1 Posted February 15, 2013 Interesting design for the Mountain West basketball tournament court... Your thoughts?http://www.lasvegassun.com/news/2013/feb/15/mountain-west-basketball-tournament-stay-las-vegas/
slapshot 801 Posted February 15, 2013 Not a fan of the brown, but unlike Oregon's court, from this angle the design doesn't seem distracting. If it's done with just stain and sanding, I think it's very nice. As long as the court lines remain with enough contrast to see them easily, I like it.
crashcarson15 2,487 Posted February 15, 2013 Yeah, don't like the brown. Like it for the mountains themselves but not the rest of the thing.

Greg_Fryman 24 Posted February 16, 2013 Reese's peanut butter cups FTW!I was thinking the same thing..... I wonder how much that influenced the court coming out looking like a big chocolate bar.
Cujo 5,401 Posted February 16, 2013 Stellar!A much needed upgrade from the ginormous, slippery logo they usually just slap onto midcourt at the Thomas & Mack Center.
Burmy 1,147 Posted February 16, 2013 If there's one thing the Big Tardis knows, it's how to get everybody talkin'...this design certainly does that.

JPDesign 823 Posted February 23, 2013 This popped up in another thread. Looks like the MW bought the court from Denver:
Fresno St. Alum 270 Posted February 24, 2013 Actually they scrapped that and are going w/ this....
dhamen0420 9 Posted February 24, 2013 Love to see them repurpose courts, especially when that court only saw 3 games. Plus it will be "new" to many viewers as nobody probably watched that Women's Final Four.....lol. Atleast it's not a crazy court, here in Toledo they bought the old NBA All-Star game court I think from the game in Minnesota. They didn't do anything to make it "fit" into the area and mostly used it for the MAC Championship games back when they were played here. I'm drawing a blank right now, but the court used at the Hunington Center now is also a former court repurposed. I think it is an old MAC court from the Q.
