Jamikel 91 Posted January 2, 2015 I love Flight...waaaay better!!That logo would be terrible for a team named Flight, but is absolutely brilliant as a minimalist representation of Wolverine.
Gothamite 24,108 Posted January 2, 2015 Flight was the worst option available.Worse than Dragons? Other than "singular names boo," I can't think of any reason why That's a great reason, though.

Other than "singular names boo," I can't think of any reason whyThat's a great reason, though.I don't love dragons. So it's better than flight because "singular names boo"...cuz, that is a great reason. Bobcats was the best of the bunch. I am not saying they could not have used a better bunch, but given that bunch, Bobcats is fine by me.

BBTV 20,147 Posted January 3, 2015 The 3-d effect on PHILA is horrible with the horizontal undersides being red and the vertical and angles light blue. Hell - adopting light blue would be horrible in any respect.I don't get the torch. Is it like the torch that the statue of liberty is holding? If so, that's dumb. If not, it's dumb too, because it doesn't instantly connect with me as being a philadelphia "thing".The shield thing is dumb mostly because of the double blue, but also the basketball being the center piece. Could have done stars around it rather than branches, and used a different accent than light blue. The charging colonial guy is OK, but not as a primary logo. As a 3rd or "mascot" logo, it's fine - shouldn't be used in any on'-court capacity.

uk-owns-iu 44 Posted January 3, 2015 Swamp Dragons sounds terrible, granted it would be a good representation of Jersey if they were still in the IZOD Center in the Meadowlands. If New Jersey were some how, some way able to get a team back (and I would imagine it would be at the Prudential Center), I can't think of any better direction than to bring back the old New Jersey Americans of the ABA. Yes, you'd have a history mess to figure out like with Hornets and soon to be Sonics, but the Americans could use the old Nets Navy, Red, and Dark Gray, plus would have a brand image, and would have a decent name.
