Something I didn't notice the first time...and I'll just phrase it this way:

Unless the lighting or my eyes are fooling me...there's a solar eclipse occurring on that helmet.

You're right, the logo on the helmet looks to have the darker blue color inside the sun

Sigh. These aren't as bad as they could have been, but it's still a gigantic downgrade for the Dolphins in every way. What did they need to fix coming into this? Eliminate navy, maybe get a better number font, and lighten the aqua. Instead, they get a terrible new logo, keep navy, minimize orange to the point that it's far less noticable than the navy, and add on a tramp stamp for good measure. Oh, and let's not forget the awful new wordmark. It was an easy task. All the Dolphins needed to do was bunt the runners over to second and third with no outs, and somehow they bunted into a triple play.

Say what? Downgrade? A clean look with lighter colors is a downgrade? And btw, that's not f'n navy! ColorWerx has posted the official colors at least half a dozen times in the big thread. And you still call it navy? My apologies if you are colorblind and can't tell the difference.

I like the tsunami pic. **** you Thailand!

Stay classy.

In hindsight my jesting was in poor taste

FWIW, I laughed.

I'm gonna go ahead and call this the "cutie mark." ;)

Seriously though, this element is a lot better than I expected in a sense that I was expecting it to be more like Juicy butt text. I'm much more content with Miami on the back of the waistband. It at least adds a bit of orange.

I'm starting to think these "super kewl HDRrrr" effects are getting the way of viewing the uniform sometimes. I understand why people think the blue is black, and why it does look like there's weird stuff happening in the sun: some dummy dropped these in Topaz Adjust. I have a feeling in person it'll end up being the blue, and the sun will be unhindered with.

Reminds me so much of the Miami Hurricanes.

I can't say that this is an upgrade over their previous set. They did flush away nearly every aspect of all their previous looks. But there's one thing that you gotta admit that they succeeded at doing: the new set absolutely captures the colors/look of the Miami area.

Final verdict: still a downgrade though.

Have you even seen "My Little Pony?"

Those 1s are pretty atrocious. They picked the worst number combination to model. Overall, I like how clean it is, but when you do something this minimal, the attention to detail, or lack thereof, is magnified.

I still don't have a website, but I have a dribbble now! http://dribbble.com/andyharry

That's for damn sure.
