2013 NFL Draft

Recommended Posts

When was the last time a QB/RB wasn't taken in the top 10?

QB: 1997 (Jim Druckenmiller: 26th overall to San Francisco)

RB: 2011 (Mark Ingram: 28th overall to New Orelans) or 2004 (Steven Jackson: 24th overall to St. Louis)

BTW the Rams gave up a lot for Austin, surrendering their 16th, 46th, 78th, and 222nd pick for him.

We'll probably deal Washington's 1st rounder to get some picks back.

1997 is the year for neither a RB or QB. Warrick Dunn went 12th to TAM.

Raiders take...Geno Smith! Only the Raiders.

Somewhere...Al Davis is smiling. I have a feeling Al would've wanted Smith a lot if he was still alive.

Raiders will take Geno Smith. But how much does this suck for Matt Flynn? Guy can't catch a break

Is the crowd "WHAT"ing Roger Goddell? If so, hilarious, and the only time I've ever liked that.

Hmmm...I thought they were trading back and they had Sharriff Floyd pretty much fall into their lap. D-Line is a more important need for Oakland, but they sorely lacked a good cornerback since Asomugha left.

Yeah, they do it every year. It's tiresome, but mildly amusing at the same time.

Hayden's a huge medical risk, but has a ton of upside.

So the Raiders are still using draft picks on high risk fast guys?

Looks like Al Davis never really went away.

I can see. It's too tempting to leave a guy like Hayden on the board when he has a lot of upside.

OAK needs bodies and cheap ones who can play immediately. Hence the trade down to acquire a #2.

Hell, McKenzie told the media that the Raiders never had a "Big Board" for the draft until last year...when he came in and they did not have any picks.

Very surprised Geno has fallen to 16. I have to think the Bills will pick him.

Has to be Nassib. You can't pass on a guy who won the Pinstripe Bowl two times.

Ha nope. They took EJ Manuel from FSU. Nassib's gotta be pissed.

Ha! Way to Bills the draft, Buffalo.

I think this actually guarantees Nassib becomes the quarterback of the draft.

If Floyd is there for DAL and the Tampa-2, they have to take him.

PIT has to go WR or TE, or Jarvis Jones right*?

*-If they don't trade.
