Manti Te'o has changed his number from #51 to #50. Apparently he did so for marketing purposes (His nickname will be "Hawaii 5-0")

I'm not gonna lie I really like that nickname. If he was on my team and got a big stop I could easily see me tweeting #hawaiifiveoh

And I mean I don't think 51 is important to him so it's not like he sold out or anything

Really?

Yeah I probably drop between 2-5 #jjswatt or #swatteam every texans game. Add to that all tw #bullsonparade and #namaste's. I'm that guy.

The new Steelers have their numbers

Draft picks

Jarvis Jones 95

Shamarko Thomas 29

Landry Jones 3 -couldn't get 12 because of Bradshaw

Terry Hawthorne 30

Justin Brown 15

Vince Williams 44

Nicholas Williams 91

other notables or changes

Matt Spaeth 87 -couldn't get 89 back since Cotchery took it.

LaRod Stephens-Howling 34 Mendenhall's old number

Alameda Ta'amu 74 -was able to get his college # since Willie Colon was cut, wore #95 last year

Mike Golic Jr. - 67

Bruce Gradkowski - 5

Jarvis Jones getting fitted.

I love matte helmets but would never prefer the steelers to wear them instead of these beauties.

I hate the thought of a running back wearing #26. It's not a good number. I hope he changes it.

I think we have an open #21 if I'm not mistaken...

I can confirm Chargers' mods for 2013. Collars are one-color, nameplate on back of Navy jersey is Gold, trimmed in Powder Blue. Nameplate on back of White jersey is Navy trimmed in Gold, on Powder Blue jersey it is White trimmed in Navy.

Those are the only changes I'm seeing for the Chargers.

First, about the pic. Can you imagine that moment for a guy? Your whole life you've waited to have that helmet. Pretty awesome feeling I imagine.

As for running backs wearing #26, I know one who didn't do too badly with it...
