Hang them in chronological order, have the banners in the same design/colours, and retire numbers in the jersey the players wore... cough cough Flames. I like the way their team is coming together, but I'm worried about their ability to make the playoffs again in a hyper-competitive East. tp49 Posted September 10, 2013 Share Posted September 10, 2013 I don't see this team making the playoffs this year because the cheap Charlie who owns them really did nothing in the offseason to improve the team. In the grand scheme of things I'm ok with them letting Streit go but they really didn't add much to the mix and the offense relies pretty much on the Tavares line. For teams like the Habs and Leafs, the amount of cups they've won can, more than enough, take care of the avaliable space. For others, those teams will utilize all their accomplishments and scrap themselves a hefty number of banners. That way, they'll feel important to the visiting teams (self-esteem factor).
