Ill also add one more dream one, one on the Indy 500 and how it is the biggest single one day sporting wvent every year, and the family's who have been going for generations.

You have to profile families from outside the Indy TV market. Locals still go to the race since it is still has a live, local TV blackout.

A few of mine:

--Checking Out: The NFL and Los Angeles. Looks at the history of the NFL in Los Angeles. Examines the reasons for Georgia Frontieire (market sabatoge?) and Al Davis (stadium issues/Al Davis) moving their teams away, as well as the market being used as leverage for the NFL in stadium negotiations (Colts, Vikings, Chargers). Also investigates the possible return of the league, of which the Chargers, Rams, or Raiders may end up residing in LA again.

--Adieu Montreal: The Demise of the Expos. Looks into how it happened, from Jeff Loria to the team being owned by MLB and how the Expos moved to Washington. Perhaps a few minutes can focus on Youppi's subsequent adoption by the Canadiens as their mascot.

--Mirage in the Desert. Chronicles the Phoenix Coyotes, the conception of Westgate, and the continual propping-up of the team by the NHL. Also details the election of the Glendale city council members and diverting public funds to the team.

--Foul Play. Game 6 of the 2002 NBA Western Conference Finals. Details the Kings, Lakers, and the business of the NBA to set the stage for Game 6. Details the calls that eventually altered the game's outcome.

I would love to see all of those.

What If? - This episode gather some of sports' most intriguing hypotheticals and expounds upon them, with commentary and conjecture from the players, writers, coaches, and personnel of the teams involved.

Starter topics include (but aren't limited to):

What if Len Bias lived?

What if John Elway signed with the Yankees?

What if Drew Bledsoe hadn't got injured?

What if Jordan didn't retire in '93?

What if LeBron stayed in Cleveland?

What if Charlotte never traded Kobe?

Sigs are for sissies.

Hillsborough Disaster, and other European stadium collapses that lead to all-seater stadiums and major UEFA bans for some leagues.

More Olympic ones would be interesting, Baseball's move out west, 1994 MLB strike was mentioned as was the fall of the Montreal Expos, steroids.

Maybe even a Stadium series, going through the history of old baseball parks, transition to the cookie cutters and domes, back to the old style.

I think a show on Ebbetts Field would be quite cool, given its mythical lore, but also relatively short life.

If anything. I'd expect TSN do that on their own in the near future.

How about a documentary about the Stanley Cup's early years before it became an NHL-exclusive trophy?

Mighty Ducks of Anaheim (CHL - 2018 Orr Cup Champions) Chicago Rivermen (UBA/WBL - 2014, 2015, 2017 Intercontinental Cup Champions)

King's Own Hexham FC (BIP - 2022 Saint's Cup Champions) Portland Explorers (EFL - Elite Bowl XIX Champions) Real San Diego (UPL) Red Bull Seattle (ULL - 2018, 2019, 2020 Gait Cup Champions) Vancouver Huskies (CL)

What if LeBron stayed in Cleveland?

Three years removed from "The Decision", it's entirely too soon to do a documentary on this topic. Say 10 or 15 years down the road, of course.

A few stories that may not appeal to Americans, but are worth coverage.

Angelo "King Kong" Mosca, the most feared man ever in Canadian football/wrestling.

Tim Horton, star defenseman in the NHL, now known more for his ubiquitous donut chain.

Story B: Red Wings go undefeated and score 100 goals in every game. They also beat a team comprised of Godzilla, the ghost of Abraham Lincoln, 2 Power Rangers and Betty White. Oh, and they played in the middle of Iraq on a military base. In the sand. With no ice. Santa gave them special sand-skates that allowed them to play in shorts and t-shirts in 115 degree weather. Jesus, Zeus and Buddha watched from the sidelines and ate cotton candy.

Chucky you are about to get another plug. I love the Jordan retirement one. Still to this day there is all kinds of controversy and conspiracy surrounding it as well. As long as his gambling debts, and near "suspension" for a year due to it are brought up in some way. Just so many circumstances add up yet don't add up with this. Why would a player the magnitude of MJ just retire at the height, not apex of his career, let alone most popular athlete on the face of the planet, and a full blown Celtics like dynasty in the works just retire, then go play sub par minor league baseball for a year? Only to triumphantly make a come back as if nothing ever happened.

Jordan's first retirement was already covered pretty well in a 30 for 30, although not the "what if" hypothetical. The impression I got was that the decision to play baseball was in part a tribute to bias father, who had just been murdered at that point.

Well, with 'The Decision' What If?, I'm more interested in how that fiasco completely changed a lot of people's perception of him overnight. He basically went from being the ultimate good guy/hometown hero archetype to a self-indulgent villain overnight.

Also, had he stayed in Cleveland, the Cavs might've had some sort of play in the free agencies or trading of high-profile players such as Dwight Howard, Chris Paul, Carmelo Anthony, Amar'e Stoudemire, Andrew Bogut, Eric Gordon, Ray Allen, Chris Bosh, etc. That's a lot of dominoes that his decision affected -- or at the very least, COULD have affected.

Had he stayed in Cleveland and got some legitimate help (as in ANYBODY but 400-pound Shaq) and won even ONE title, he'd have been deified in the state of Ohio, and possibly the annals of NBA history.

Instead, he's still regarded as the best player in the NBA -- albeit as a selfish jerk of a best player who took the easy way out -- and this is coming from a guy who loves watching LeBron play.

Sigs are for sissies.

The thing is though, Cleveland had SEVEN years to make those moves, and still didn't. Lebron basically willed those Cavs teams to the success they had, yet they still didn't have the pieces to make it work. I really don't understand why Cleveland's management gets off scott-free while Lebron is derided as selfish and not a true leader. And :censored:, in the three years that Lebron has been in Miami, he's been to three Finals, has won one, and has a shot at a second title, so he was kinda right.

But yeah, Lebron. Selfish. Weak. Lazy. Let's just go with that instead.

I never said he was weak or lazy. He's in tip-top shape and can slam dunk an anvil.

Also, a lot of people don't dislike him for leaving Cleveland -- people dislike him for the manner in which he left Cleveland.

In addition, you're right about Cleveland's front office.
