Now I was born in Dec 1984, so I guess the 85 phillies season would be the first I got to see.

Final season for the cool stripes galore eagles uniforms.

and heres what the stadiums looked like that they played in (Veterans Stadium for phillies and eagles, Spectrum for Flyers and 76ers) none of which is there now. Also JFK Stadium (the one up front) was used for live aid that following summer.

So many of you make me feel so old. So very, very old.

I almost share a birthday with the fateful 1984 Orange Bowl (1983 season). Some call Nebraska's choice to go for two (and lose to Miami) one of the balliest calls in NCAA football.

Mike Rozier.

Additionally, here's Dickerson with the Rams:

And Ozzie Smith with the Cards. His pants look like UGA Football pants, lol.

OT, but is that a painted design on a helmet and cage goalie mask? Can anyone identify that goalie?

Edit: It is! 72527350-defenseman-ray-bourque-of-the-boston-bruins-gettyimages.jpg?v=1&c=IWSAsset&k=2&d=OCUJ5gVf7YdJQI2Xhkc2QDQA7yARziCH6yIRxQMkAaGoSy9ZJa4%2bB1IyLmM7lwehLt5IWhsv7sc3UqiCoD6v4g%3d%3d

Story B: Red Wings go undefeated and score 100 goals in every game. They also beat a team comprised of Godzilla, the ghost of Abraham Lincoln, 2 Power Rangers and Betty White. Oh, and they played in the middle of Iraq on a military base. In the sand. With no ice. Santa gave them special sand-skates that allowed them to play in shorts and t-shirts in 115 degree weather. Jesus, Zeus and Buddha watched from the sidelines and ate cotton candy.

That would be Vincent Riendeau.

I've got a dribbble, check it out if you like my stuff; alternatively, if you hate my stuff, send it to your enemies to punish their insolence!
