Avenger
of these 3 i would go with one on right. the middle logo is too bland. i like the hilights in the trident & on crown. maybe the crown could kind of float abovethe shield and trident. also could you try the trident with hilights and the crown without any just to see what it looks like? I did try it with only accents on the trident, but I really didnt like it. The two objects didn't really work together, as if they were rendered in two different styles. Phil
I think the middle one is the most legible. I can see why you want to ad highlights to it and add a little depth, but if you do that, don't put any on the crown...that's where it gets busy again. Agreed...Wow is this identity starting to kick some serious tail. The colour combination is perfect for the concept, and the secondary logos are craaazy cool.Soon Vengeful will be a synonym for the adjective-phrase Craaazy Cool, as in "Hey Nitro, that new site is Vengeful." The two objects didn't really work together, as if they were rendered in two different styles. I don't know, I'm picturing it in my head, and it works. The trident is really the central item, the accents make it pop out of the background, which the crown really should be considered part of.Perhaps you could show us anyway? Maybe lime highlights instead of white? Buy some t-shirts and stuff at KJ Shop! -kj
Hm, ok, I concede, maybe you're right. But, that version above on the right has too much detailing on the crown, it gets jumbled. Maybe some smaller detailing on leading up to the points, but not connected? (Does that make any sense?)The more I look at the non-detailed crown, though, the more I'm liking it. Phil
Perhaps you could show us anyway? Excellent... the trident has the depth it needs to stand out, while the crown fits in as a part of the shield in the background.
Avenger
Alright... you guys convinced me... the latest incarnation has grown on me... I was thinking too three-dimensionaly.
rozilla74
I'm thinking you should ditch the crown and just go with the trident and crest for a secondary or try one with the N and a crown. In my opinion, there are to many competing prongs in this logo. looking good Avenger!
Avenger
This is why I love Rozilla, in a completely hetero-sexual kinda way. If I do say so myself, I really like these. I originally wanted to combine the trident and crown because I thought it was cool that they had similarity in the shapes, but I think these are much cleaner and readable. What to you guys think? -kj
I think the N should never be without the crown, even if it has "Norfolk" across it. I dig that. But I still like having the crown on that logo with the trident. The top of it looks naked. I do love the wave, it's a great addition. Buy some t-shirts and stuff at KJ Shop! Gothamite
The trident/wave logo is amazing. Great job!I also like the N with the crown. Some beautiful secondaries. The Green Bay Packers Uniform Database! Now in a handy blog.
shiznit1083
Money! Although I do agree with Mockba, the N just doesn't look right without the crown.
Avenger
I picture the plain N and the N/Norfolk logos to be used very rarely, only when the crow wouldn't fit, such as the belt buck covering or something like that.
hockeygator
What about lowering the height of the sheild behind the trident? Let the trident stick out a littlle more at top. Whatcha gonna do when the Ultimate MegaPowers run wild over you!
Avenger
What about lowering the height of the sheild behind the trident? Let the trident stick out a littlle more at top. I messed around a lot with the positioning of the trident relative to the shield, and I felt this was the most balanced and compact.
Phil
What about lowering the height of the sheild behind the trident? Let the trident stick out a littlle more at top. This, or eliminate the top of the shield altogether. The horizontal nature of the top of the shield clashes with the vertical nature of the trident.Have the sides of the shield taper off as they go up.Otherwise, it's terrific, and keeps getting better. rozilla74
Right on! Digging the trident/crest sans crown a lot. The wave is an excellent touch and I hope to see that wave come through on the primary. What about eliminating the lime green within the crest around the trident? Have the lime green solely on the outside. Just a thought that popped to mind. I like the "N" with crown but not feeling as much love for the others.

I really think that the trident needs the green... it doesn't really pop without it.And yeah, there's going to be some wave love on the primary.
