acw484
What do people think of the current NBC Sports logo? Do you think it's a strong and recognizable mark? Do you think it could use improvement or that it's effective as it is?Here's an article showing the old vs. the current logo:http://www.logodesignworks.com/blog/change-you-can-barely-spot
goforbroke
I don't think its strong. I really dont identify the colored peacock with sports at all. I see it and i think Thursday night prime time. I think the Gold Peacock works much better for sports because I see that and think olympics. I tihnk they should use a gold peacock like this:Very sloppy I know but I think that make me think Sports more than the rainbow. Olympics is their biggest event so keep that Olympics branding consistant accross all NBC sports properties and programminh

Mac the Knife
why do i feel like u work for nbc and are doing research for them?Eh, so what if he is? No harm done.IMHO, NBC's marks are as a rule rather staid and bland. CNBC, MSNBC, NBC Sports, they're all sort of 'meh.' Iconic due to longevity of the peacock, but otherwise virtually no really redeeming qualities about them.
