FiddySicks
That's probably my favorite Bucs win. EVER.U 4 REALZ?Oh yeah? I'll call your bluff and raise you one: The Super Bowl obviously meant more. The win over the Eagles to close down the Vet and erase what happened the previous two postseasons there, where the Bucs didn't score a single TD in either game, was the sweetest feeling in the world. Obviously, our friend is overstating things for effect. In reality, that will probably always be my all-time favorite victory for the Bucs, and that's the case regardless of whether they are a sad sack franchise or a successful one.--Re: Matt Flynn, I know at some point I basically said he is the NFL equivalent of John Paciorek. If none of you know who John Paciorek is, look him up.Yeah definitely overstating things. But it's been SO long since Tampa had had any sense of a meaningful win. It's been such a bad year that watching them pull out a close win on the same night they honored probably the best player in Buccaneers history was really nice. It's rare to see Tampa play on a national stage as it is, and it's even more rare to see them pull out a big win. Considering how bad this season has gone, tonight was huge, if for nothing more than morale. See Red
This Bucs team really isn't bad at all. There is talent, though a sizable chunk of it's on the IR. They're just poorly coached and make stupid penalties and mistakes that cost them games (although I did like Schiano's handling off the punt returner getting that 15 yard unsportsmanlike conduct penalty). Had they not handled the Freeman situation so poorly, I think they would be in considerably better shape.I think they'll bring in a new coaching staff in the offseason and be a pretty decent team next year. CS85
Just to follow up on Matt Flynn's incredible career, he's been paid $46,178 per yard since leaving Green Bay. He's not exactly having a career year and I don't think it will affect his status against the Broncos. Maybe a fine, and a slight decrease in playing time. Kramerica Industries
Ed Reed hasn't looked very good this year, but it's also a courtesy thing too, I imagine. At 2-7, Houston is cooked. At least it will allow the possibility of some contending team to sign Reed on name value alone.

The accounts I heard were that he appeared to put minimal effort into training camp, etc., so I think he was just taking the money and running. Rex Ryan may be able to get something out of him, but he's been a shell of his former self for a little while now. This year he was just awful. In the offseason, he had his second hip operation since the spring of 2010. If a doc passes him on a team physical, thats on them since the players needs to take all the money they can since the concussion suit won't help the current guys. DG_ThenNowForever
This Philadelphia Eagles team is really entertaining. Also entertaining are watching Pennsylvania troopers (or are they Philly cops?) celebrating the touchdown in the end zone. Why are they there? 1 hour ago, ShutUpLutz! said: and the drunken doodoobags jumping off the tops of SUV's/vans/RV's onto tables because, oh yeah, they are drunken drug abusing doodoobags
