See Red
They may have just blown a big one in favor of San Francisco.Well outside the pocket? I don't know about that one.
Cujo
There's your make-up call, Frisco fans. Krap was definitely NOT "well outside the pocket". Should've been 2 on the board for the Saints.

Kramerica Industries
Except that wasn't a make-up call. And Kasim Osgood just did something horrifically stupid there.
Cujo
The safety is moot now. The Saints deserve this win, and it looks like they're gonna get it here as they're driving all over Frisco in the final moments.
FiddySicks
Awful finish for the Niners, but it shouldn't have even had to come down to that. Quarterbacks are gonna get hit, it's as simple as that. This league has turned into such a joke. ninersdd
Kaepernick is an idiot for running out of bounds and Osgood was too. Eh, at least we can say we matched the Saints blow for blow in the dome. Still pissed about the "blow to the head". Cujo
If only the Niners could turn to Alex Smith.... I'm not sure If I've ever seen a quarterback digress as much as Kaepernick has. This guy was a game-changer and a beast, as he led SF to the Super Bowl last season. Now, he just looks lost out there. Like he stopped practicing and didn't try to improve himself during the offseason. Suddenly, Kap looks no better than [insert any current Vikings QB here] this season. FiddySicks
He's been fine. He's missing so many weapons this year. Anyone who really thinks Alex Smith is a better option has clearly never watched him play outside of SportsCenter highlights. I think teams having to put so much into stopping that threat from Kaepernick and the 49ers led to him looking like a lot better passer than he actually may be. This year he doesn't have that luxury and he's forced to beat teams more with his arm. He's obviously not terrible... but at this point, I'd rather have Alex Smith, honestly. Alex Smith was an absolute joke BEFORE Jim Harbaugh groomed him and actually taught him how to play the pro game. And no, Kaep is NOT fine. Pretty sad that he can't cut the mustard out there because one guy (Crabtree) is missing.
NJTank
Teams are better at stopping that read option, so running QBs like Kaepernick need to throw more and so far he has not been able to do that. www.sportsecyclopedia.com For the best in sports history go to the Sports E-Cyclopedia at http://www.sportsecyclopedia.com

Kramerica Industries
Seahawks haven't always looked great, but that's a 10-1 team right now and with a chance to, more-or-less, wrap up the #1 seed in the NFC next week. It's really hard to pick against them to reach the Super Bowl from the NFC at this point. I know Kaepernick and Crabtree are some unstoppable combo. But this isn't a video game, either; if/when Crab comes back, he won't just seamlessly go back to being what he was with Kaepernick last year. I'm surprised with the trouble San Francisco has had, and they need to be careful, because they are now tied with Arizona at a 6-4 record. And, speaking of Arizona, that's the best afternoon game that won't get the attention it demands next week; 7-3 Indy at 6-4 Arizona. Second time in three weeks an excellent matchup in a Western market gets buried in the dungeon of "regional coverage" week for the network it will air on. Kramerica Industries
I guess that makes sense? I mean, it's very possible that Washington would be 3-8 by that time, but I didn't know if I saw any matchups appealing enough to bump the Giants/Redskins from that slot.Either will be 6-5 vs. 6-5 or possibly Arizona sitting on 7-4 going into that game, so it will be a good matchup with implications on both teams. See Red
Sure wish the Broncos didn't pass up Eddy Lacy for Montee Ball. A RB that can't pass protect or hold onto the football... we already had one of those on the roster in Ronnie Hillman.
