vmd9
Where will Josh Freeman land?I'd take him in Cleveland. Can't be any worse than Weeden or Hoyer. But they'll have a good enough pick in the next draft to get a QB.
dfwabel
Where will Josh Freeman land?Nowhere. Historically, your 1st round Black QBs get one chance to start and rarely are able to last in the NFL as a career backup. Leftwich is the most recent one who has been to hang around. Campbell too.He is also an unaccurate passer with 80 tds and 66 ints.
Cola
I think Schiano should be next right after Freeman. There are major problems in the clubhouse and the handling of letting Josh Freeman go kind of bring them to the surface. If 3 of your 4 losses were by a total of 6 points and they all occurred within the last 1:30 of the game, that is coaching.Again, I don't think Freeman is a capable QB and this needed to happen at some point...but it was mishandled and dirty (with the whole benching, putting him in Inactive status, his NFL drug program leak). FiddySicks
Awful decision by the Bucs today. They handled this in the worst and most unprofessional way they possibly could, and frankly I'm ashamed to be a fan. Freeman was totally inconsistent, but just look at the idiot coaches he's been playing under in Tampa. Raheem Morris was in so far over his head he might as well have been Jacques Cousteau, and Greg Schiano is probably the most immature NFL coach I've ever seen. Of course he struggled. I'm convinced he's gonna catch on with another organization that actually knows what they're doing, and he's gonna have a ton of success. Just look at the Pats and how things are going with Legatrett Blount and Aquib Talib. This franchise is such a freaking mess right now, and that can squarely be placed on the shoulders of Malcolm Glazer. Ever since he bought Man U, he's run the Bucs as cheaply as he possibly could, and it shows in every aspect of the organization. He really should look into selling his majority stake to someone who has the time and money to actually put full effort into this team. I till then though, I don't see them being anything but a total joke. Yuckaneers. Fire Malcolm Glazer. Paper Bags. All the rest. I hate being a fan of this team. kajeet
Now that they released Freeman, this is why I don't believe the "This team will be dangerous in the years to come in the future" crap ESPN spews out whenever a young team has a mediocre season. From this, it sounds as if Tampa Bay has given up on the year and are looking at next year. Then again, we* thought Cleveland gave up early, and here they are looking to get above .500 with a win tonight.*I use "we" loosely because not everyone believed they gave up @loganaweaver - Twitter / @loganaweaver - Instagram / Nike Vapor Untouchable Football Template / Logan's Logos

Now, he is going to take the rest of his salary in what the CBA calls, "Termination Pay" and the team gets zero. And once again the Buccaneers keep their perfect record as the franchise who has never given their starting QB a second contract.
Cosmic
Obviously it's not a lock, but Freeman landing with the Bills would make sense. Kevin Kolb's career seems like it's done, so we have two healthy QBs: a rookie and an undrafted rookie. And this is a really random guess, but I know Freeman's former QB coach is in Green Bay now, so there's that.
NJTank
The Buccaneers are an unmitigated mess, and if they leaked information on Freeman to tarnish him, they should lose their 2014 first round pick which will be in the Top 5, total classlessness. Greg Schiano could not be more of a disaster, it looks like he learned from Mike Rice when he was in Piscataway. www.sportsecyclopedia.com For the best in sports history go to the Sports E-Cyclopedia at http://www.sportsecyclopedia.com
LAWeaver
Well, at least the Browns are living up to their team names tonight. Is Brad Nessler in the booth for NFL Network tonight or has he been up there and I've never noticed? It seems weird seeing him on TV since the only place I've seen/heard him was on NCAA 11 @loganaweaver - Twitter / @loganaweaver - Instagram / Nike Vapor Untouchable Football Template / Logan's Logos
Kramerica Industries
Don't forget the way the Bucs handled the Lawrence Tynes/MSRA situation in training camp. What a dirty, dirty organization they are right now. There isn't a player in the league who would choose the Bucs as a top destination spot. It's freakin' comical that they bring in Goldson and Revis to try and shore up their biggest deficiency, with the idea of making a playoff push this year, and then they totally mishandle their QB situation in the most toxic way possible.Yeah, what Bucfan said. off, Bucs. dfwabel
Don't forget the way the Bucs handled the Lawrence Tynes/MSRA situation in training camp.Meh. This CLE team on NFLN right now had seven MRSA cases with six players in five season, including LeCharles Bentley, who reached a settlement with the team just last year. Kellen Winslow, Jr. had it twice.
DG_ThenNowForever
Obvious joke is obvious: Look like poop, play like poop.EDIT: EJ Manuel looks like the most competent Bills QB -- by far -- since Flutie. He makes some dumb decisions, but he makes smart ones too. It's fun to watch him. 1 hour ago, ShutUpLutz! said: and the drunken doodoobags jumping off the tops of SUV's/vans/RV's onto tables because, oh yeah, they are drunken drug abusing doodoobags

vmd9
I don't see how the Browns can win without HoyerI'd rephrase it as "Browns can't win with Weeden." Hoyer isn't a great QB, but is slightly less worse than Weeden. Our freaking punter has as many touchdown passes as Weeden this season...
