Toronto Argonauts Debut 1983 Alts

The Toronto Argonauts debuted their 1983-edition alternate jerseys in last night's game vs. Calgary. 1983 was a big year for the Argonauts because that year, they managed to end a longstanding championship drought by winning the Grey Cup over the hometown BC Lions at Vancouver's then-new BC Place Stadium.

I think Reebok did a pretty good job of staying true to the originals, which to my mind are one of the most iconic looks in CFL history (although I'm pretty sure there was no Nissan tag back then :P )

Here's a scene from the 1983 Grey Cup, where Dan Ferrone and A Guy I Don't Recognize are hoisting the Grey Cup after a 31-year long championship drought for Toronto:
