JMurr
Looks good. I like it. Like the alt helmet.
hockey week
I don't know if the northwestern-style stripes are too Steelers-like, but those tiger-striped-stripes are exactly what the Bengals should be wearing. I like it.
tBBP
I don't recall anyone trying that particular solution for the Bengals', well, stripes--but man does that look good. That said, if you're going to offset the outermost stripes on the jerseys, you should probably do the same on the pants to match.Good job on these, though! It kind of muddled the stripes. I appreciate the feedback. Thanks!
hockey week
Really? something like these pants with your outer stripes didn't work? This was always my favorite Bengals look, I wish they'd go back to it...your version of the "contained tiger stripes" improves even that

I will post an update and see what everyone thinks.
adam__cain
Here it is with the updated pant.
hockey week
you've stretched the stripes to remain vertical, but why? There might be some realism to it with regards to the animal, but I don't think it's necessary for a sports uniform
adam__cain
That is the same as the first time, I didn't change it for the second version.
sportstar1212
One change I would make is to use block numbers. Other than that, I love it. It's much better than their current clownsuits.
kbaker19
The font looks too much like the Bears to me.

jdp
Not a Bengals Fan, but live in the area. Here is what I came up with:...I realize there are several differences here, but I can't help but see the Browns with this particular version. Maybe it's the simplicity, my screen resolution, I don't know. That said, I'm a huge fan of the helmet. The stripes never bothered me, but this would be a welcome update if they incorporated it. Well done.

Well done. This uniform is actually a throwback to the Bengals original uniform in the 60s, which is why you think of the Browns. They were both started by Paul Brown, and was one of the reasons the Bengals changed their look in 1981.
JackieMoon
I like the concept, but would like to see the numbers with the 80's font. Really wish the Bengals would go back to the 80's Super Bowl Era uniforms. With the addition of the 60's as an alternate would also be good. Their current set needs to die. At least most teams that went with the current style are abandoning it (Buffalo, Minnesota)

I tried standard block and it just didn't seem right to me, that's why I stuck with their current numbers.

At least most teams that went with the current style are abandoning it (Buffalo, Minnesota)Remember what Mark Twain said about Cincinnati? ( http://www.twainquotes.com/Cincinnati.html ) When the world ends he wants to be in Cincinnati because Cincinnati is twenty years behind the times. That's why the Redlegs STILL have a black drop shadow and BP cap and hat (and now dugout jacket I guess which drives me absolutely crazy) while the rest of baseball has gone back to their roots (Mets, Royals, A's)... Anyway I would like to see the throwback comeback twice a year, and I like the jersey of the concept you have, paired with pants that have simple stripes like the top I think it could be a great looking set. I hate the unis now even though Nike actually makes them look a little bit better Im more fond of the 90's unis with the simplified stripes.
