1. I've always hated this thing. Looks like a horse having whiplash. The M and cowboy hat was so much better.

Pretty much the other 24 logos are middle of the pack. None that are great but aren't terrible.

and should be on the bottom in place of the Bobcats.

There's so many bad logos that it's going to be tough picking just a bottom 3...

Top Three:

Fix the beak and those weird puncture marks and the Hawks jump to #2...the NBA doesn't have a whole lot of good looks. The Hornets would probably be #1.

Bottom Three:

That Blazers monstrosity is easily one of, if not the worst logos in the Big Four.

That Blazers monstrosity is easily one of, if not the worst logos in the Big Four.

As a design, I like it. As a professional sports team logo, it's fairly awful (I'd probably rank it 25 or 26). Unfortunately, I think it's considered "untouchable" due to its history...

Though I would put Cleveland and Sacramento for "Honorable Mentions" while Utah (recolor with no place in the Jazz's current identity) and the Lakers (a logo in desperate need of cleaning up) get "Dishonorable mentions."

*Though I'll admit, the Celtics' logo needs some cleaning up..primarily making the right eye level with the left and shifting the hat's angle just enough to make it visible.

I'm sorry, but as bad as some of the other logos are, you can't get any worse than "Wordmark in front of basketball" no matter how classic it might be.

That Blazers monstrosity is easily one of, if not the worst logos in the Big Four.

Yup. There is not one redeeming quality about that POS. The font is ugly, the parallelogram shape looks awkward, and that...thing in the middle is downright laughable. It's supposed to represent 5 vs 5 players, right? That could apply to any basketball team. Heck, any hockey team! It looks odd and it's impossible to tell what is represents (and when you do find out, it only looks worse).
