youcan'tseeme
It's not every day you see a Coyote that Burrows.Has there not been past suspension for hair pulling in the NHL? Somethig with Chris Simon if I remember correctly?
The_Admiral
No, with Simon, you're confusing "pulling hair" with "stomping on a guy's leg with an ice skate on." Alex Burrows pulled Duncan Keith's hair in a scrum. He wasn't penalized or disciplined, but Keith later compared him to an eight-year-old girl. Anyway, boy, that Mike Smith sure is a bitch. ♫ oh yeah, board goes on, long after the thrill of postin' is gone ♫
ninersdd
I remember during the infamous Game 3 brawl between the Pens and Flyers, I think Hartnell had complained that Craig Adams had done it to him. Kramerica Industries
In the sense that the miserable half-striping is on the lower half of the arm sleeve as compared to inside the upper half, sure.(only the ing Florida Panthers could make the logical decision to return to using red as their dominant color, and still screw up their aesthetic so badly.) TorinK92
Well, the panthers are planning a throwback night and are putting together a special Tim Thomas package, so why not break out those old Bruins digs.

dbadefense1990
Solid preseason win tonight for the Kings in Las Vegas tonight.Though it was awkward how the arena played the Rangers goal horn when the Kings scored.

oddball
NHL reduces Paul Bissonnette's 10 game suspension to 3 games because there were few camera at the game. So according to the NHL, if there are few cameras at an NHL game, it's okay to jump off the bench and get into a fight, even though their on ice officials said that Paul Bissonette did. Nice to know these numbskulls can't even follow their own safety rules. And yet they want to penalize a player for tucking the jersey into the pants because it's a "safety" issue. *confused*

oddball
It's Paul Bissonette.Does it really matter?Yes. It does. It would be nice for this league to have consistent punishment that everyone understands. I guess that won't happen as long as Bettman and his love toy Brendan are in charge or discipline. The_Admiral
It's Paul Bissonette. Does it really matter? In and of itself, no. Bissonnette sucks. But it's just weird that what was supposed to be an automatic, non-negotiable suspension was, well, negotiated down to something else, especially while the same thing happened with David Clarkson and doesn't appear to be getting mitigated at all. "There weren't enough cameras" is a pretty crappy excuse to unsuspend a guy. So are non-televised games some sort of Mad Max thing now? Because there's always like one game a year between two of Carolina/Florida/Nashville/Phoenix where neither team airs the game and so you have to watch it on Gamecenter from the home team's jumbotron. Will those games not have enough cameras to prove that guys did a bunch of stuff they weren't supposed to do? Just another bad precedent. Between the Torres suspension and the Bissonnette suspension, that's twice now that the NHL has dropped a huge suspension on a Phoenix player to send a message to players that this crap doesn't fly, only to scale the suspension down right after that. Some teams just seem to experience good fortune from the league. ♫ oh yeah, board goes on, long after the thrill of postin' is gone ♫
