brilliant use of negative space

I saw this in today's UniWatch, perhaps the best use of negative space ever. It's the logo for a new Showtime show called "Masters of Sex".

That is awsome! It's just a normal E (well, maybe slightly modified at the middle serif) in a standard Roman font. But sideways it creates a picture that is totally appropriate for the subject matter. Bravo!

Whenever I design a logo these days I can't help but use negative space in some way. It's so effective and simple if done well which is exactly what a logo should be.

The yoga australia logo is a thing of genius.
