billman29
What are some notable pieces of merchandise, whether commemorating a championship, an anniversary, or some kind of milestone that come to mind for you? Interesting Designs? Terrible Ideas? Relatively obscure? Lets see it!I'll start off with everyone's favorite milestone worth celebrating: a Wild Card berth, of course. Anubis2051
Some "Phantom Champs" gear:I don't think phantom gear is what OP had in mind, but if we're doing that, I have a Yankees 2004 World Series hat at home. I'll have to dig it out.

Jungle Jim
Well, we could've had this if Joe Montana had left well enough alone in Super Bowl XXIII...Being serious, I always liked when these were produced for championship teams. Do they still make them? I've got them for the 1919, 1940, 1975, 1976, and 1990 Reds, as well as the 1988 All-Star Game, which was played in Cincinnati. When Pete Rose made his return to the Reds in August 1984 (after being away for 5 1/2 seasons), these were sold at Riverfront Stadium. Kinda goofy, but still a memorable item for me...These caricature shirts were popular for various teams in the late 80s and early 90s...
