eriqjaffe
Mr. Redleg is well-done, but he kinda looks like he's about to get hit and has closed his eyes in terror.

(I'm a disgruntled Reds fan, by the way.)Ha! In any case, do you think adding a smirk or a smile would help? Or should I just bite the bullet and open his eyes? eriqjaffe
Both, IMO. I think a smile would be more fitting for a logo that harkens back to such an old-time design, but a smile with the eyes screwed shut might come across as a grimace, and the logo shouldn't go from scared to constipated. derschwigg
I'll work on the Reds later tonight. In the mean time, though, I got the Diamondbacks done! My Portfolio | My Store | My Self
McCall
Not a bad idea, but it reads more as a tentacle from a squid or octopus. Maybe place a head and rattle in there somewhere. Plus it seems a little too glossy and smooth. https://dribbble.com/MakaioCall

LAWeaver
Add the head coming out from the inside part of the A, and you've got yourself a winner. @loganaweaver - Twitter / @loganaweaver - Instagram / Nike Vapor Untouchable Football Template / Logan's Logos

derschwigg
Add the head coming out from the inside part of the A, and you've got yourself a winner.I just spent two hours trying it out - to really do it justice, it blocks too much of the A. If there were a secondary, sure. My Portfolio | My Store | My Self
derschwigg
Alright, here's "Steamboat Redlegs"And subtle detailed Diamondback - I may come back in and add a couple scales here and there. My Portfolio | My Store | My Self

LAWeaver
I think he looks a little blocky. Detail works, but it looks like you used a bit too much. Take away some of the lines and round out the ears and it's a nice concept. @loganaweaver - Twitter / @loganaweaver - Instagram / Nike Vapor Untouchable Football Template / Logan's Logos
