I have been able to complete only about one a week, so I haven't started uploading them yet because then the series would drag on for a really long time. All teams will have a city/town crest or two on their main helmets and on their football field. Also note that every team will have the league logo in their team colors (like in the MLB). Trying to remain realistic to any league, jerseys and helmets must have the league logo on it. As you will see I am doing a fairly large-scale concept that will include an overview including football field design. Every team will have an alternate uniform of some sort (including an alternate helmet). The alternate uniform will be one of the following: a throwback design (really a fauxback), a different color but same style jersey; a more Pro-Combat style design, or a town/area pride uniform.I will post my first design shortly, but here is something I put together quickly. Note that the main helmet has a matte finish (you should be able to tell through comparison both below and in the above post with the Arsenal helmet). All teams will have a crest or two on their main helmets and on their football field; in addition, most teams will have a crest or two on their uniform. Tottenham is located in the London borough of Haringey and they also use the crest that I am using for London (it is taken from the Greater London Council). Also note that every team will have the league logo in their team colors (like in the MLB). Trying to remain realistic to any league, jerseys and helmets must have the league logo on it. Football fields must have the league logo too.Some notes with the uniforms. They have had white main uniforms since 1898, so they will wear white at home. Their simple design is supposed to represent their consistent designs throughout the years. They have mostly worn blue shorts with the white shirts but have worn white shorts (especially in tournaments) so that design is an option as well. Their fauxback uses their THFC lettermark from an old badge. (I felt that the FC letters could still apply to an American football team as well.) Tottenham's motto (Audere est Facere - To Do Is to Do) is put in the inside of the home and away collars.A big thanks to those who created the templates that I have used (and will use) in this series. Rezland did the helmet design used in my overview, pscf3 did the football field, lancealot posted the jersey template, and TimEO'Brian and dsaline97 both made templates that will show up shortly. Neither of them really scream Tottenham other than the location. I don't think either of them have ever featured anywhere for spurs - and spurs have had a number of shield type crests over the years which would have been better suited.Also, are you aware of Spurs' own font they use pretty much everywhere? The standard block font you used doesn't do much for me.I do like the addition of "Audere est Facere" inside the collar as it is one of the only things relating this to spurs other than the logo and solour scheme, however just the English version you mentioned "To Dare Is To Do" tends to feature more prominently nowadays, I find.As an aside, White Hart Lane is not big enough for a full gridiron field. I will leave them on the helmets because the back of helmets usually have multiple stickers. For example, every NFL team has a U.S. flag and the NFL crest on the back. The crest (or in this case, the crests) will take the place of a national flag.I do know that they have their own custom font. I went with a block font to stick with a more classic design, but I will definitely experiment with their font for the jersey numbers. Does anyone know where/how to get the Tottenham font? I am editing the Tottenham uniforms but won't be able to get them up until tomorrow due to the inconvenience of not being able to work with layers. I also took the crest off of the sleeve and resized the crests on the helmets. As I posted earlier, I somehow lost the original psd files, so I had to get fairly creative for the edit. It isn't very clean, but it is the best I could do without spending hours fixing small issues.I replaced the overview in the above post with a slight edit (fixed spelling and resized the crests on the field). They have worn red jerseys with white shorts since 1900 so I wanted to make sure that was their home look. I inverted the colors for the away uniform. They could interchange the red and white helmets for both of these jerseys. Their alternate is just a same style, different color jersey. They should wear their white helmets with this uniform.The numbers and names are outlined in gold on all three uniforms. It is a little hard to see though.The stripes on the helmet, pants, and away socks are all consistent. It is hard to see the gold on the outside of the stripes.Arsenal's motto, FORWARD, is on the back the collar on all three uniforms. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
