Yes, but it doesn't look like anybody wants them at that price. I looked the other day after you mentioned the demand, and there were a bunch of listings with $70 buy-it-now prices, which means that basically a few people had gotten a hold of large quantities and would just leave the postings up until someone bites on them. If they really were going for upwards of $70, they would be auctions and not buy-it-now prices.

Fair enough. I'd love to get my hands on one, but not for that price. That makes me wonder just how many of those things they produced before finally pulling the plug.

Theo Epstein and Crane Kenny had some kind of Q&A event today and according to this tweet confirmed that the Cubs will have new road uniforms that will say "Cubs" on the front similar to their set from the 1920s. Not sure how I feel about that, but I'm interested in seeing the result.

Something like these I guess: http://exhibits.baseballhalloffame.org/dressed_to_the_nines/uniforms.asp?league=NL&city=Chicago&lowYear=1920&highYear=1929&sort=year&increment=9

Hi everyone - busting out from lurking mode with a little news - at the Cubs season-ticket holder event today, among all the near-Soviet propaganda for the current five-year-plan, they vaguely discussed some uniform news to celebrate Wrigley Field's 100 year anniversary in 2014. In addition to the commemorative sleeve patch (which also be on the side of the caps for at least opening day) it sounds like there may be a new gray alternate road jersey that is a throwback of some kind (1950's perhaps?), as well as throwback Sundays throughout the season that will focus on uniforms from different decades.

My apologies for how vague this info was, but it's something to look out for at least.

http://espn.go.com/blog/new-york/mets/post/_/id/79409/mets-to-wear-camouflage-uniforms-in-2014

"The Mets will be saluting the military on select Mondays during the 2014 season. And that, apparently, includes wearing camouflage uniforms.

Beginning April 21 against the Cardinals, the Mets will wear camouflage uniforms in-game on five "Military Mondays" during the season."

Oh my god. I love that Mets jersey. The blue really makes the script pop, unlike san diegos jersey

Depends on what you want your camo to do. The Padres unis are supposed to be like a full camo uniform hence it blends in. The Mets is much more gimmicky, but does pop as a result. I tend to favor the former but I understand the benefits of the latter even if it looks goofy.

In case anyone was wondering...regarding the new Braves stadium move (this is from homeofthebraves.com):

Will the Braves be changing their name or logo when they move?

No. The name on our jersey will still be Atlanta Braves and we have no plans to change our logo. Our new stadium will have an Atlanta address, and we will continue to be proud to represent the metro Atlanta area for the next 30 years and beyond.

Like I said in the other thread about it, that sounds like careful wording. If you look up the location on Google Maps, it's unincorporated, but the closest city limits are Atlanta. That gives it "an Atlanta address" for the postal service without being in Atlanta.

♫ oh yeah, board goes on, long after the thrill of postin' is gone ♫
