The Diamond Era BP hats are extremely comfortable and I love them. It would not surprise me at all of this style moved to the regular MLB hats like the Cool Base jerseys.

Been thinking of getting the Jays and Red Sox Diamond Era caps. Are they easier to shape, mold and fit to your head than the regular 59Fifty?

It's a thinner material, so ya. They dont feel as high crowned to me after wearing them a few times

The hats suffer from the same problem most fitteds do so the size will still vary from hat to hat even if you get the same hat size, but the wear is extremely comfortable and the light material is helpful in hot conditions.

I love the Diamond Era caps that I have and would welcome a permanent change to the game caps. At the very least, I think they should offer them as an option to the players. I would scoop up the Braves traditional cap right away if released in the DE model. I find them to be more comfortable, better fitting, more breathable, and less boxy on the head.

What about teams like the Yankees and Blue Jays who still wear doubleknit jerseys?

No. The Yankees just started allowing CoolBase on the road this year, and they don't use it at home because they have woven pinstripes, not sublimated as all other teams use.

The Jays are 100% doubleknit. No option. Marlins are 100% COOLBASE. No option either.

Go Astros!

Go Texans!

Go Rockets!

Go Javelinas!

I'd be ok with them switching to the Diamond Era caps, but there would have to be a few concessions made. First, they'd have to be made at the Buffalo plant and not overseas. Second, they have to at least still give the option to wear the poly caps. And third, they have to use the current logo style and not the crappy BP stitching style.

If they do all three of those, I'd be more than happy to pick a few up. I actually like the DE material and it's perfect for summers in Phoenix.

I've seen marlins players with double knit- including the tag during broadcasts.

Yankees have allowed Ellsbury to wear a pinstripe coolbase, and I think CC wore one too.

The BP caps seem to be the only Diamond Era caps that use the weird raised logos. The All Star game caps, as well as pretty much any fashion cap I've seen, all have the traditional style logos.
