Rochester Red Wings to wear hockey-themed jerseys

March 13, 2019 - 18:02 PM

You’d be forgiven if your thoughts go to hockey when you hear the name of the Triple-A baseball team in Rochester, New York. Even though Minor League Baseball’s Rochester Red Wings pre-date the NHL’s Detroit Red Wings by three years, […]

Good God. What a mess.

I do like, and already own, that new road cap, though. The bridge pullover is fine as well I guess. They can ditch the rest, though.

Why do the red and white jerseys look like little league versions of the current DBacks set?

Bridge cap was always awesome.

Having the paw logo as a reference to the OG logo is great as well. It just makes me want this back even more though.

This is the best the RiverCats have ever looked, and it was worn for just about every significant moment in their history. Just go back to this and call it a day.

Durham Bulls throwback to Tobacconists days

March 14, 2019 - 17:36 PM

The Durham Bulls franchise, currently the Triple-A affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays (and the only Triple-A affiliate the Rays have ever had), has been around since 1902, when they were called the Tobacconists, a nod to the local agricultural […]

MiLB rolling out Spanish-language Copa de la Diversion brands

March 18, 2019 - 18:17 PM

Minor League Baseball’s successful Copa de la Diversión (Fun Cup) program, in which teams reimagine their brands in the Spanish language and in the traditions of Latin communities, has grown to more than twice its previous size this season. The […]

Watching the Charlotte Knights / Caballeros de Charlotte unveil right now on Facebook.  I don't go to enough games.  I need to change that.  I like the look for them but the pinstripe pants seem out of place with the jersey.

I guess not all of them may be new logos or names.

Loving the llamas look and jersey.

Some of the caps have logos that are way oversized though.

I counted something like 24 teams using teal or bright teal

A bit of a classic look without throwing the whole logo on the hat.

It's like the early 90s all over again when clothes began to incorporate bright neon hues and colors

Ocelot looks like a Jacksonville Jaguar knock off.

I guess they had extra MLB players weekend material, huh?

The Mariachi's (Albuquerque isotopes) were apparently so popular, they just went with a different color cap

You would think the chicharrone team would be the iron pigs naturally. So a lot of this doesn't make any logical sense.

Great color combos and ideas overall.  Sad they're only for a short time.

Disappointed in the Chicharrones for the Fireflies.  For a team that has a great logo and colors, they totally went the other direction.

I love the Medusas idea, but the gear could be better.  Jellyfish as a primary name could have great branding with it. #GetStung

Love the Chanclas colors.
