TruColor 639 Posted October 13, 2014 If they did, though, I bet it'll be a tertiary where an anthropomorphic piano is gazing through binoculars at a #10 so that it's a ten he sees.
The Mojo Maniac 49 Posted October 14, 2014 The Kitsap BlueJackets (based in Bremerton, WA) of the West Coast League (collegiate summer wood bat league) will soon unveil a new logo.Old:A draft of the new logo is on their Facebook page. I've been told it's not quite the finished project."BlueJackets" has a double meaning: a take on the insect (yellowjackets) and Bluejacket referring to someone who is in the Navy. Bremerton is the home of the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, hence the anchors and sailor cap on the "newer" logo.
kewp80 64 Posted October 15, 2014 Really liking that Nashville Sounds rebrand. Can't wait to see more. Cool take on the color palette.Thank goodness the Kitsap (What is Kitsap?) is getting a new logo. That thing is horribly dated.

kewp80 64 Posted October 16, 2014 Please! Please! Please! Go with Moonshiners! Canaries would be a nice subtle nod to the mining industry too.
The Mojo Maniac 49 Posted October 16, 2014 In my opinion, Muskets would have the best ring to it. I'm a sucker for alliteration.

the admiral 28,766 Posted October 16, 2014 Morgantown Muskets for me. It has the best cadence, by far. "Black Diamonds"? Come on. And "Wonder" is just an abstract concept. How do you draw that?
PackerFan98 91 Posted October 16, 2014 MOONSHINERS!!!!
MBurmy 1,139 Posted October 17, 2014 On second thought, I doubt they're gonna go with the Moonshiners (too close to the Asheville Tourists' current identity) or the Muskets (for obvious reasons).I believe we will see the Mon Valley Black Diamonds...and the college football color field trend will make its way to baseball too as we actually see a black diamond.

Brian in Boston 2,725 Posted October 21, 2014 The new Kokomo, Indiana-based team in the summer collegiate Prospect League has unveiled its name and logo. The Jackrabbits identity is a tip-of-the-hat to the Apperson "Jack Rabbit" brand of automobiles, which were manufactured in Kokomo during the early 1900s.
-kj 2,395 Posted October 21, 2014 There is a lot of good in that... but the little details break it. The shadow on the bat and the wordmark ruin the rest for me.
GFB 2,127 Posted October 21, 2014 That's a disaster. And Kokomo, Indiana is hell on earth, so it's oddly appropriate in that sense.

Not sure whether they'll allow that usage...too many upset parents in this world. My idea was just the "Shiners" and have the mascot be a hillbilly with a shiner...they're the Pirates' affiliate, and a shiner is "nature's eyepatch!"
DC in Da House w/o a Doubt 3,649 Posted October 21, 2014 Hmmm that's not a bad idea. Could make a good alt logo at least. I like it
