How do you snap a 19-game losing streak to Kansas?826258399.gif

I love how he just stands there after making it... like a boss!

9 months ago, Florida Gulf Coast was in the sweet sixteen. Tonight they lost to Mississippi State (who edged past Jackson State) by 13 points. Did they not return anybody?

Returned 4 and added two tranfers, Nate Hicks (Georgia Tech) and Jamail Jones (Marquette) , but more importantly lost their coach, the A-Sun player of their year and brought in a Kansas assistant.

Until last season, they weren't even a .500 team one their Division 1 transition.

Great win for Illinois over Mizzou in the Braggin' Rights game tonight. It was great to see them close out a good team away from home after blowing leads at Oregon and Georgia Tech (although Tech doesn't fit the "good team" category.) And it's getting closer to conference play where we'll finally be getting some better matchups every night.

Man, yesterday was brutal. I went to the Richmond Coliseum to see VT play VCU and it wasn't pretty. I didn't expect a W, but a 30-point beatdown where we just looked silly. At the beginning of the season, I gave Tech the benefit of the doubt because they were picked last in the new-look ACC. But it appears they are just about the same team as last year, just downright not very good.

I should know better after dealing with Molinari's Bradley teams growing up in Peoria, but for the love of God Mo could you at least move the tempo setting for your team from the picture of the turtle to the picture of the crippled rabbit in crunch time?

Just a question...has anyone else almost lost complete interest in the NCAA basketball regular season? I don't know if it is because I'm older and have less time to devote to watching sports or its because the NBA has ruined it. Maybe both...

Unless you're a diehard fan, the college basketball season doesn't mean crap until mid-February. 68 teams making the Tournament takes away a lot of importance from these regular season games.....

This. That's what I love about College Football, if you slip up once in the regular season, you're out. In college basketball, you can theoretically rest your starters the whole regular season, win your conference tournament, and then get in the NCAA Tournament and win it all. While that is unlikely, the fact that it is even possible makes the regular season pretty-unwatchable.
