infrared41
No one ever reads these, but I still love posting my lists:After #7 they are more or less interchangeable...New Orleans Green Bay Dallas Oakland Buffalo Houston Kansas City Indianapolis Cleveland Pittsburgh Arizona NY Jets NY Giants Tampa Bay San Francisco ChicagoThe worst:Jacksonville Miami Seattle - great logo, but way too much going on. San Diego - lots of potential, but it really needs a fix Atlanta New EnglandEverything in the middle is pretty good, but not great.

BrandMooreArt
I think this illustrates an interesting point. Almost everyone has the Jaguars last (as would I). And almost everyone has the Bengals in the top 5 (as would I).Both helmets are "innovative." Therefore, "innovative" is neither good nor bad.Being different is good. New ideas are good. Thats the whole point of design, to do something different. But one of those helmets is designed with the principles of design in mind and with good taste. The other is a perfect example of what not to do. Even the logo GRAPHIC ARTIST BEHANCE / MEDIUM / DRIBBBLE

Raysfan12
1. Indianapolis Colts- Clean, simple, and effective2. Cincinnati Bengals- The design is still innovative today3. Arizona Cardinals- Love the new logo4. Minnesota Vikings- A true NFL classic that hasn't changed very much at all5. Philadelphia Eagles- Just like the Vikings....32. Jacksonville Jaguars- This is worse than eating skyline chili or watching the Jaguars this year. It is a true shame that the Jags actually don't look that bad from the chest down. Not that the Saints don't have a nice helmet, but its just so... standard, its surprising to me that it made someone's number one. Can you explain what it is that makes it stand out to you. (I only ask because, generally, you have an opinion that I find interesting on these things.)Well, I suppose "I just like it best" won't suffice. To be honest, it's difficult for me to pick a "best" helmet. I really like every helmet on my best list. I can't honestly say that I like the Saints helmet all that much better than the Cowboys or the Bills. Why is New Orleans #1 to me? I guess what puts it at the top for me is the fleur de lis. It's just such a great helmet logo. The Saints helmet incorporates all the things I like in a football helmet - traditional stripes, great decal, great colors. Wish I could do better than that, but that's my reasoning. All that being said, I wish I had done the tier system originally instead of ranking them. A tier does a much better job of illustrating my preferences. Using a tier, I don't have to pick a #1 helmet.
