For those of us who love vintage logos, it's a pleasure to come to this thread to see such quality work done to restore them.

ren, here's an old logo from my high school that I restored a long time ago. I think you could really improve upon it, if you had the time and inclination to do so. If not, that's fine:

I don't have a scan of the 1970s newspaper copy I took it from. My restoration would be the best to work from anyway. Use your own eye to add any shading or details, I think you have the ability to improve it. If you'd prefer to pass on it that's fine, you won't hurt my feelings.

This is a Baytown Robert E. Lee Gander, by the way.
