Anyone know how this effect is achieved?

Thanks for the feedback everyone.

Shadow/Highlights is what you're looking for. High effect level, high range, low radius and crank up the midpoint.

Holy crap man, your stuff is incredible. Do you have any tutorials of how you go through your design process? I'd love to know how you do it.

I love this Instagram account and would love to know how they get the photos to look like that.

Just imagine if they took their time and actually fine tuned things and made individual adjustments as opposed to just running it through a one shot plug-in

No because when the Irish came to Ireland and first came in contact with the leprechaun people, they didn't take their land away and force them to move west. Instead, the two groups learned to assimilate peacefully. However, certain tribes of the leprechaun refused to taint the pure blood and moved north into the forests of Ireland, only to be seen rarely, usually at the same time of a rainbows appearance and occasionally at the factories of Lucky Charms.

Anyone know where I can find that plug-in..for under $1?

Not for a $1, but like I said...this is most likely the plugin they used: http://www.topazlabs.com/adjust/

If you really want it, pony up. It's relatively cheap.

That combined with the Nik Color Efex Pro is just fantastic. Plus with CEP, you can adjust things and fine tune them until you get the desired result.

Welcome to Fraser Davidson, this is everyone's reaction to his work.

He made some tutorials (that really helped me) here on the boards a while back. I'll see if I can find them.
