VictoriaGooner 74 Posted July 30, 2014 That photo you posted aawagner011, I actually like that kit too. In that instance, the sponsor color works good being navy blue.Plus that night has special meaning to us Gunner supporters. Arshavin scored four against Liverpool that night at Anfield.

TorinK92 314 Posted July 31, 2014 Um, City using the exact same kit template as United? It even has a darker purple back. Also, purple and green?
TimEOBrien 87 Posted July 31, 2014 Man U, City, BarcaNike sure is getting lazy. this is like Adidas with basketball. Ctrl+C Ctrl+V.(and the trend seems that the back color is the color of the collar)
CreamSoda 2,215 Posted July 31, 2014 that template looks nice... but only for one team.I am surprised both Manchester clubs went with the same design....
-kj 2,390 Posted July 31, 2014 None of you have noticed the Nike templates before? They've done it for years.
TimEOBrien 87 Posted July 31, 2014 I think you'd have to agree, this time around is fairly more egregious. I mean both Man U and City get the same third with only a slightly different tint and accent color? That's lazy.
gdu 160 Posted July 31, 2014 I posted those yesterday and no one commented.
MJWalker45 5,750 Posted August 1, 2014 Not surprised they're using the same template, but just taking the collar and stripes off the City kit would have been a better way to go.

sportstar1212 447 Posted August 1, 2014 This is pretty bad by Adidas or Puma standards, who recycle templates religiously. I'm pretty shocked that Nike has gotten to this point.
Deion.Blackwell8 6 Posted August 1, 2014 So that's Barca, PSG, Man City, Man Utd, Juve, & Inter all with the same template for their third kits.Come on Nike. First the chevrons template and now this one...ugh
PerCR 4 Posted August 1, 2014 I don't have a problem with the kit template being used heavily. It's a great template - clean and attractive. Those things will definitely sell. It's better than them forcing a new design simply for them to be more differentiated and it look horrible. In other words, I'll take everyone's third kit looking like the Chicago Bears over one looking like the Jags, one the Bucs, etc.
MJWalker45 5,750 Posted August 2, 2014 If these were all teams in the lower divisions it'd be understandable since they'd be looking for the cheapest template for the third. But 2 teams in the same city using the same design is usually a no no even for training kit. And the fact all of the big Nike teams are using it is a bit annoying. The only good thing going for it is they won't be worn against each other.
