4_tattoos
I'm not totally sure how this new DC "State" League works. I get that they want all the cities schools (public, charter & private) to compete for the same championships. Yet, having the private schools remain in their many separate leagues sorta screws things up. Keep in mind Gonzaga and St. Johns did not compete in the DC Class A playoffs, instead choosing to compete in the WCAC playoffs. I'm all for a unified DC high school league, they just need to do it right. It may be way too late for it to work now. The DCSAA should have been created decades ago. I don't see the elite private schools in the city competing in the DCSAA any time soon.SN: I also believe all of Maryland's private schools should compete in the same league (MIAA most likely). 4_tattoos
I watched on TV too. I was surprised to hear the other team was nationally ranked. Oscar Smith sure picked a bad time not to show up. Hotter Than July > Thriller
