TruColor
I've been saying for a while now that the Cowboys need to go back and fully re-embrace the Silver-Blue. They've essentially gotten rid of it - the helmets which were the last uniform element to use it were changed in 2012 to a more standard Silver - and continued the use of the clashing Silver-Green. Here's a color concept I did in the past - using the current Navy, and a new, never-before-used Silver-Blue: That's it; no other colors. Here's the helmet using those colors: Note that the facemask matches the helmet...I don't know why more teams don't do something like this as opposed to a clashing (yes, clashing) Gray mask. oldschoolvikings
All I know is that they SHOULD.No more royal blue anywhere, navy at home white on the road.Yeah, the Cowboys could wear navy more. Then they could be just like the Patriots. And the Broncos. And the Texans, Chargers, Titans, Rams, Seahawks, and Bears. Hell, I'm probably forgetting a team or two.OR... they could go back to this dark uniform, and have a truly unique color scheme that would belong just to them, and that they could absolutely own... dark royal and metallic blue-silver...Navy and silver is a unique color scheme though. It looks very sharp.Well, maybe just navy and silver is unique (if you ignore 30% of the teams in MLB) but if you add a trim color... http://dstewartpaint.blogspot.com/
imawalkingcorpse
The Cowboys should be forced to wear the blu at home, they are nothing special. I hate the new Buccaneers logo. Pewter was boring in 97, even more boring now.
oldschoolvikings
The Cowboys should be forced to wear the blu at home, they are nothing special.Well, since the NFL doesn't force any other team to wear a dark jersey at home, singling out Dallas that way would make them... you know... something special. http://dstewartpaint.blogspot.com/
BlueSky
I've also been on the navy/silver blue/white bandwagon for years decades. Dallas was "my" team before we moved to New Orleans in '69 so I'm very familiar with the look of the Meredith-era Cowboys. Always loved it.Looked a lot better with the whites too. John in KY
Bluesky - personally I also love Dallas' dark royal blue and a unique silver blue color that they used to use; I think it's time for them to retire navy and silver. If anything I think New England owns that combination now. Also wtf - I upgraded to IE11 it won't let me quote a post in my post?

Navy/silver isn't the same as navy/silver/red or navy/green/silver. And it's not like their Navy looks exactly like the Patriots or Seahawks. Because most teams wear their dark jerseys at home, the Cowboys wear white on the road AND at home (because of tradition). When do they ever have an opportunity to wear their blue jerseys?! FiddySicks
Dallas looks so much better in navy it's not even funny. They actually look like a professional football team for once. DC in Da House w/o a Doubt
Damn, I gotta say Dallas looks good today. Is it safe to just call it a fact that their away blue's look better than their home whites?

DC in Da House w/o a Doubt
Have any of you fellow nerds noticed Dez Bryant's jersey? One of the 8's on his back looked messed up. One of the inner circles of the 8. It looked pretty bad

oddball
This has always been my favorite Dallas look, the 80's dark blues with silver numbers.
BBTV
Is there a reason they're breaking tradition today? I know they've worn throwback blue and double star blue at home, but since I've been watching football (late 80s) I've never seen them wear their regular dark uniform in Dallas / Irving / Arlington.
