LAWeaver
Things I dislike:- White Helmet - Red Pants- CRPFCRPS (coloring random panels for coloring random panels sake) - Near match to Nebraska and Arkansas Things I like:- Wooden striping on the sleeves- Cream/Vintage White in place of regular whiye- The Red helmet. Overall, 7/10. Just keep a black set out of the package. @loganaweaver - Twitter / @loganaweaver - Instagram / Nike Vapor Untouchable Football Template / Logan's Logos
andycumbee19
What's the significance of the wood pattern/reference? And Why would You base an alt uniform set on wood?
BrandMooreArt
The replica jerseys show the "cream" a little better. That makes them a LITTLE better. But again, look how much better that collar looks than the on-field version. It may be unpopular, but I like these quite a bit and many of you guys are just overreacting because this is Oklahoma. It's nice to see them spice things up a little bit (these are much safer compared to other alts) and the cream uniforms look great. Get rid of the wood and some of the cream, and this could be OU's new look (not because I hate the current uniforms) in the future. well thats the whole thing right there. they are nice enough uniforms, considering what schools are wanting and what Nike is designing these days. but its not appropriate for OU, and even as an alternate it's too off brand because of all the options, it just muddies the whole identity and dosent do anything to separate them from other red/white schools. you even say yourself they've gone too far off with it to be a full time OU design and its too cheesy and paint-by-numbers to be an interesting alternate. you can say "if they changed ABC it would be better" well of course, but they're not changing anything. thats what they have and its not very good for this schoolfor what its worth though, i think the design would be an interesting starting point for an IU uniform. What's the significance of the wood pattern/reference? And Why would You base an alt uniform set on wood? its their team and/or marketing slogan. Nike isnt focused on making unique designs, they are giving everyone very similar designs (if not exact copies) and concentrating on new textures/patterns and number fonts to separate their clients from one another. wood is just something that hasen't been done before. and i could write a book about how much i hate that GRAPHIC ARTIST BEHANCE / MEDIUM / DRIBBBLE

lahaye7
Damn, these OU unis would have been nice for Stanford! Change the cherry red to Cardinal, drop the cream , keep the wood (the Stanford Tree) and IMO use an Old English S on the helmet. LAWeaver
Think of these as the Oklahoma equivalent to Ohio State's rivalry sets.I'm calling it right now: Cream/Red/Cream Combo vs. Oklahoma State, Red/Cream/Red vs. Texas @loganaweaver - Twitter / @loganaweaver - Instagram / Nike Vapor Untouchable Football Template / Logan's Logos
colinturner95
The replica jerseys show the "cream" a little better.I did say these were a major downgrade earlier in the thread, but seeing these now, I've ever so slowly begun to warm up to these. The wood pattern is a new one for me, and the random panel coloring is dumb and needs to be stopped. The font I can live with. The cream is a nice touch. Hopefully these stay alternates

Of course, it's kinda a random touch as I have never associated wood with the Sooners, but I see where the inspiration was drawn from.

FiddySicks
Actually, I kinda dig that new Oklahoma set. Sure it's different than what they wear traditionally, but their traditional uniforms kinda sucked anyway, so why not? Ditch the stupid notch on the cream jerseys and they're perfect IMO. Xist2inspire
The replica jerseys show the "cream" a little better. The number font and the template spikes are the only problems I have with these. I wish they had these last season, because the 2014 Sugar Bowl was an eyesore. Shoot, clean these up a tad and I think it could be the basis of a new look for them. Tradition is the foundation of innovation, and not the enemy.
