Webfooter
If Arizona State goes to adidas they won't look any better than today.By switching over, they'd probably look worse because they'd likely be wearing adidas' tire-tread uniforms and whatever ugly alternates they came up with. adidas is just not very good with their uniform templates and one-off designs. If I had to rate the 3 main uniform suppliers, it'd be: Nike, Under Armour, and in a distant third, adidas.
Clintau24
The reason they can't figure it out for the steelers is because they have to allow space on the sleeves for the Nike logos, which end up moving the stripes further down the sleeve cap.The simplest fix is to put the swoosh in the middle of the main stripe like Starter did when they made the Steelers uniforms.I'd prefer not to see that. It would be nice if Nike could talk the NFL into letting them take the chest placement like they did the NCAA many years back. At least that way we get 1 swoosh versus 2, at the very least. FiddySicks
Good to see Arizona State look like Arizona State again. It sure is. The sooner ASU ditches the salad fork logo and most of those awful uniform combos, the better. A move to Adidas certainly couldn't be any worse than what Nike has done to the Sun Devils. Couldn't disagree any more. The change to the fork logo was something I wasn't too thrilled with at first, but it grew on me over time, and it's really become a huge part of the identity now. I love Sparky. He's easily my favorite mascot in college sports (I even named my dog after him). But the identity that Nike has come up with for us is damn near perfect IMO (Minus the wonky ASU script logo on the sleeves of the football jerseys). The current Nike rebrand is JUST now settling in as our look and is really starting to stick (Merchandise with the pitchfork logo outsells merchandise with the Sparky logo by a wide margin). Having to completely scrap that now so we can switch to probably the worst manufacturer in college sports could be MUCH worse than what Nike has done. STL_ArchMadness
sorry I was at the Mizzou game yesterday so I didn't have a chance to post this. But Mizzou's helmets are an ode to the 2009 Nike Pro Combat helmets. The almost invisible decals were supposed to symbolize stealth, for the US Air Force ROTC located in Columbia, MO. You guys might have already known this, but thought I'd share it. 20092014 http://boards.sportslogos.net/topic/98633-2014-nfl-concept-expansion-series-dallas-cowboys/
seattlesonicsofsacramento
Maybe an unpopular opinion...but Iowa should never change its look. Sure it's a complete ripoff of the Steelers...but it is still a good look. I've always liked the helmet, and the huge numbers on the back of the helmet are pretty sweet. It's just timeless.Agree 100%. It's a great look. You forgot the ANF stickers.Remember when Iowa thought this was a good idea?ahahaha I had completely forgotten about this. Such a weird combination of 90s CFL-esque big logo and asymmetry along with a proto-contemporary attempt at a shoulder pattern. Did any other college football team do something like this? upperV03
Oregon going yellow helmet, green jersey and pants today in the Civil War. Since they are on the road the civil war will once again be color vs. color, with oregon state presumably in some sort of orange.

That was when matte helmets were barely a thing and I loved them (although a million teams have poorly executed matte now so it's lost it's appeal). If they were going for stealth then I like the idea of the new helmet.Love those Oregon greens. Idk how I feel about the yellow tights as opposed to green but everything else should look fantastic. Did any other college football team do something like this?ahh the _M_M_ uniforms. I've never understood why they chose to put the Ms on the chest and not the sleeves. They still could've had the connecting line that went all around the jersey and it wouldn't have read as M M.

Kevin W.
That look for Oregon is almost perfect. Slap the O logo on the helmet and give them yellow pants and it's perfect. Sport
I'm really glad Ohio State is wearing their regular home uniforms against Michigan. You should dress like your normal selves in your biggest game against your biggest rival. Alternates should be for a less important opponent in October or September. An odd note about those Gophers' unis: The M on the helmet was a different M logo than the M on the jersey and pants. However, I did like the Vegas gold. And infrared...the ANF stickers are really cool on the Iowa helmets. I guess they add an Iowa-shaped ANF decal a few years ago, worn on the back of the helmet?
