I think by the time the Dennis Dixon uniforms came around they went to just straight black. Even under Dennis Dixon they were still dark green:I think he was referring to the body of the jerseys, but I didn't realize that about the facemask. Im guessing it allows traditional TV shot to be tighter on the line of scrimmage. Who knows why ESPN does what they do.
